I have one spare ticket for the BT south stand section P2. The cost of said ticket is £35. PM me if interested. I will have a few Well questions to ensure you are a Well fan

Pretty much agree with Yir on last night. We played well in spells and killie played well in spells. Credit to Mixu but he had put together a really strong team. Eremenko is reputedly on £20k per week with Mhetalist whatever...they also have ex AC Milan and Udinese players. Christ knows how they did it, but they have been one of the better teams this year, hence why they finished above us in the league. As to pointers for the Cup Final. It is not rocket science. If Celtic are on top form, then regardless what we do they will probably win. At the very least we need to be on top form to make a contest out of the game. We also need a little bit of luck and a strong referee. If we get neither and don't perform then it will be a comfortable victory for Celtic. Shame but no getting away from it. IMHO they need to have an off day and that has happened a couple of times of late....

Why bother even responding to any of his negative p1ss. He may be right and the odds are he will be, but he wins the most depressing poster of all time award. I do realise there have been one or two positive posts sneaking in recently, but that must be a result of a bang to the heid. I p1ss myself laughing at the statement - I'm just feeling really down about Motherwell just now - whoa "just now". Try every freeking second of every day.

The vast majority of Season ticket holders pay their money to support the club + it is a lot cheaper than paying full price x 19 games. So 90% would not care if there is a one off reduction to boost the crowd at the last home game. I would suggest reducing entry to £15 and allow one guest per season ticket holder. That would ensure a healthy crowd of 6000+ rather than the likely sub 5000 a midweek game would attract.
-
Nae chance. Season ticket holders from this year will take an average of 2.5 per ticket, based on a very complicated formula.....which means that 8000 tops will be taken up this way. At best assuming 500 new season ticket holders take up all 4 tickets that would add 2000 to that total. I may be way off the mark and it would be great to sell more new season tickets, but I would expect up to 4000 minimum - 6000 maximum to be available via the ballot.
-
In truth I doubt that is going to happen. If anything there will be some Celtic fans trying it on. We have roughly 3000 season ticket holders and that will include the kids. Not all season ticket holders will ask for or require 4 tickets. I myself am looking for 3. I would expect that after season ticket holders get their lot there will be at least 7-8000 tickets available for general sale. Most if not all tickets bought by season ticket holders will go to fellow Well fans or the odd mate who may have an allegiance to a team that are not Celtic. I would NEVER give any ticket to a Celtic fan even if my best mate was one. My concern is what happens to the tickets left after the season ticket sales. Not sure how the club are going to ensure they go to Well fans and not the enemy. I would guess that at 16,000 tickets, any Well fan that has been inside Fir park in the last 5 years will get a ticket.

Well given that I am a centenary season ticket holder + buy hospitality at least 6 times a year + get calls every home game asking if I want to take hospitality, you can understand my bemusement that I have heard nothing by email or phone. I will wait till I get along to the game today, where I am having lunch before launchimg any tirade..... It would not surprise me in the least if they have screwed up AGAIN. A lot of things have improved over the years, sadly the admin side is still full of holes and ineptitude..........

Better not be sold out...I never received an email

I think the silence says it all and the fact Leanne has not confirmed we are still in negotiations. The whole SFA comments re segregation are utter nonsense. We should have been given the opportunity to have at least 3-5 sections in the North stand. I acknowledge they have squillion more supporters then we have, but they will be in another final in the next year or so, it is more than likely we will not. If the allocation is 40,000 to split, then I would be a lot happier with a 22k/18k split in their favour but NOT 16k - 24k.

McCall on radio there saying that we have offered Sutton the best contract we can afford. That is it - up to Sutton now whether he wants to risk a move like others who have disappeared before him. I KNOW that the Jambos are sniffing around and they may just be tempted to bung another couple of 000 per week onto his offer. Certainly wont be any shortage of suitors that can and will pay a LOT more than we can. Fingers crossed he sees sense and signs on. If he does go I hope it is down south and not through to Edinburgh
-
True - but do we know for sure that Commsworld are not renewing. Let's face it if they don't think they have had their moneys worth from 6 games in Europe, top 6, two national semi finals and a FINAL then no sponsor ever will. The exposure alone from our win on Saturday in terms of media coverage would have cost them a fortune ordinarily. Front page of every sunday sport supplement. Strangley on that front we have proved a bargain for our sponsors this year........
-
TBH that is fairly pathetic. OK we have a core support of 4000, but a SCOTTISH CUP semi final against a non old firm team should attract quite a few more. 11,000 for Nancy. This is a much bigger game. I am in my mid 40's and I have been to 1 - JUST feckin 1 Sc cup final. Hopefully it will be 2 come May, but tickets sales are very disappointing. F#ck it I am going who cares........
-
I think the 2 key decisions McCall has to make is to choose Gunning over Craigan and Hately over Jeffers. He may of course choose Hately and Jeffers and leave Sutton on the bench......... My gut feel is Craigan will start over Gunning alongside Hutchison. Really do not know whether Hately or Jeffers will start. He may go Murphy + Sutton up front. God - it's a long week.........as I knew it would be....

Sad deluded numpties. Who the hell would go to Aberdeen ever again. Their crowds are edging closer to the 7000 mark.
-
Anyone who is extemely confident has probably not been a Motherwell fan for very long. I have lost count of the amount of games where we were favourites (even slight favourites) and came away with nothing. St J have been struggling to score goals and have scored only as many as Hamilton this season at 18, which is half as many as we have scored - 36. Mind you this leads me to think they are likely to ping a couple in from 30 yards+ So I have no expectations other than the hope the team will play as well as they have been of late and if that happens we are in with a decent chance of getting to a Scottish cup final. This will be a long week.........

Just back from the game. Excellent effort from all the players and the management team. How often do we go to Tynecastle missing half a 1st team and still look fairly comfortable. I reckon we should have had a penalty when Jones went down, but would need to see it again. Top half is EXCELLENT now let us hope we do not go a ruin all the good work next weekend. Oh by the way - does anyone know what the Aberdeen score was today
-
Erm not quite............ The truth is somewhere in between. You can hardly state that he has taken Aberdeen anywhere other than a modest upward trend. Which is not difficult if you are losing every game. The actual facts are that Aberdeen may well finish 2nd bottom of the SPL. Where were they when Brown took over? Could not care less about the old guy, but this magical rebirth is a million miles away from happening.
-
For Randolph For Humphrey For Hutchison For Murphy Certainly for the 1st two. Randolph has as good as secured 3 points in both of the last 2 league games with outstanding saves. If yon boy from Aalesund is worth £3m.... The Humpster is starting to fulfil his promise and 3 goals in 3 games will keep the rumour mill going strong. More of the same for the semi and a bid will be forthcoming. Good times.
-
Therein lies the rub. Boyle likes the juice and judging by his eyes had a few too many - but I am sure he was only tellin Broon what 000's of Motherwell fans would like to say to him......that is he is a judas pr1ck. End of the day he may have helped us initially, but then he high tailed it too Aberdeen after 15+ media interviews when he said he was going no-where. At NO point have i EVER heard him credit or thank Motherwell for giving the opportunity rather than let him dwell in an old folks home. I don't dislike the guy immensely , but he is a lying two face nyaff

Bought tickets last year for Roger Waters - The Wall concert in Manchester on May 21st. Let's be honest you never think about the date in may that long ago........hope we don't blow it now. I actually only realised a week ago....that probably meant we will get to the final. They will just have to go on Ebay
-
We reached 2 semi finals in the same year Could we get top 6 and 2 semis - after a lot on here said we were having a sh1te season..................
-
F~ckin gutted I can't be there tonite. New job = more travel + no time All the same I will be there for the semi - there I have jinxed it Would rather a move to Easter Rd or Tynie for the semi (should we get through) for many reasons, not least more drinking time living in Edinburgh. Happy for all the fans there, sure I will hear from a couple come the final whistle....
-
I am sure we will do it. A win against the Dons, coupled with an ICT defeat to Celtic and we will be 4 points ahead with 2 games left. If we lose to Aberdeen then we will probably lose out. Truth is that Aberdeen still have to play Hibs and both cannot win + with ICT and St J having just as tough games as we have left, then I think we will just sneak it. So here is the scenario: If we beat DDee Utd in the replay, then it may be over 120 mins+ which will leave us cream crackered for the Dons game which we will probably lose focus for. If however we lose to DDee utd then the players will give 100%+ to beat Aberdeen and stay in the top 6. I don't see us winning both, but we better not lose both Mr McCall....... If I had to choose - I would rather have a Scottish cup semi v St J or Brechin with the chance of a final, than top 6. Both would be even better
-
Timings crap, but at least it is a Saturday and not the Sunday. If we were to get through and play either St J or Brechin then they would be as well switching to Tynecastle or even Livingston. Be lucky to get above 12,000.
-
That will all change when we win the cup
