Two unique engraved bottles of whisky added to the prizes. One for the game vs Borussia Dortmund and the other for the game vs Panathinaikos. Club crest and the Motherwell FC lineup from that game will be engraved. These are one of a kind and can be won for a fiver. Good luck and thanks for helping the Disabled Supporters Association

That's before he found out what happened. Everyone was behind them, thinking they were genuine people. A small few had suspicions. We were all fooled.

Motherwell FC Disabled Supporters Association have recently gone through some major changes. Many of you may have seen the story in the newspaper recently. As a result of these changes we need to raise funds. All money raised will go towards improving the match day experience for all disabled fans. If you read the podcast thread you will have seen they guys have set up an online link for you to donate to us and I would like as many of you as possible to help us if you can. It must be his confidence. He stands out in the U20s. Even more than Cadden did. When he steps up, he doesn't have the same level of arrogance and rarely tries to take on his man.

Everyone on this thread seems focused on one person's comments. They seem to be missing the point. Usage on this site is down and if it continues to decline, the site will no longer be viable. From where I sit, there are a large number of fans who aren't aware of this site, there are also a large number of fans who have been members but now don't come back. The main reason for that is abuse. It's normal to disagree with someone's opinion, but to turn to abuse is ridiculous. Some people do it because they think they'll get a laugh at someone else's expense. Some people do it because it makes them feel more powerful than they could achieve without the anonymity. Either way it shouldn't be tolerated or rewarded. I stopped using this site in the past due to some of the abuse I witnessed. This is a decent site. You should be doing all you can to bring new users to the site. If you weed out the abuse then you might encourage some of the old users to return too.

McHugh and Clay were working well together in the Killie game until McHugh took himself out the game. It went downhill after he went off. Since then I've watched Clay get better so I'm hopeful when McHugh returns we will have a good central pairing. Them both being defensive isn't the worst thing as they have attacking qualities. Lasley could be used as a last 20 minute sub to see the game out. People keep listing Lucas as a defensive midfielder, he's actually an attacking midfielder but hasn't shown us much of that in the little time he has featured. In one of the pre-season friendlies he did show a little but then got injured. A midfield three of McHugh/Clay/Cadden will see us through til January when I hope Pearo will return with the same form from last season.

I don't think Dom needs to bulk up. A big part of his skill comes from his small stature. He needs confidence. In Faddy's time he was thrown in a the deep end to sink or swim, thankfully for us he was fantastic. If Dom was given the same responsibility I think he could flourish. When you watch him in the U20s he stands out, he just needs t go into a first team game with the same attitude.

Sort The Defense And Stop Bringing In English League Dross.
LankyMac replied to stonehouse well's topic in Club Chat
I like Hammell, this wasn't an attack on him. We lost that game through a large number of faults, mainly not scoring the multiple opportunities we had at the start. I sit right at the side of the pitch where both goals were scored from and in my opinion Hammell backed off more than he normally does. Maybe he gave them too much respect or maybe his fitness level wasn't high enough given the time in the season. So he wasn't fully to blame but I'm sure if he looked at it he would recognise he backed off too easily giving them space to shoot from that side. -

I've been impressed by Tait's movement, workrate and attacking threat. He might not make many tackles but at this point that isn't a major worry. Both goals lost to Rangers were because Hammell backed off and gave them space on the edge of the box. The goal lost at Annan should have been an easy clearance for McManus. So Tait hasn't cost us any goals yet and has helped create goals. Seems like a good thing so far. I go to most of the U20s games and Fergie isn't quite there yet. Crags worked fantastically with Hall and I'm hoping he can help Fergie in the same way. But adding Fergie to the first team at this stage in his development would be a hindrance rather than a help. -
I think Lucas would be worth a try. He was highly-rated at Swansea before his injuries. Some players never fully recover from such a serious injury but if he does it could prove very worthwhile for us. I view Faddy in a similar light although he won't become a sellable player. The Grimbsy guy I haven't seen play at all so he is harder to judge. If McGhee can sort one or two of these options and then bring Pearo back in January I think we will be ok.
-
He did ok but if we have no budget why do we have a trialist? Come to Motherwell for a trial, but we have no money so we can't sign you?!?
-
From what i've seen I would start Heneghan with McManus. I wouldn't let Kennedy back near the team until he improves.
-
Another decent workout. Negatives: Kennedy was poor, their big number 10 beat him to everything Ainsworth was poor again, at times I forgot he was on the pitch Positives: Ben Heneghan came on and took control of the big number 10. He continues to impress. Carl McHugh looked good. Composed on the ball, didn't miss many passes, good timing in tackles. Lee Lucas took over for Carl and looked decent too (only a positive if we sign him). Ross McLean had a good game, good movement and great awareness. Craig Moore put in a good shift and deserved the goal. The two boys Crags was having a look at seemed decent in the time they were on the park
-
Ripley's loan move is apparently Oldham Athletic. So he might be working under Robbo again.
-
Tonight's game was a good workout. Kennedy had a nightmare but his pass to Marv was superb. Tait seemed decent Blyth still seems easily knocked off the ball but won every header. Not enough players getting to the knockdowns Trialist didn't do enough in my opinion
-
No real standouts today apart from Alan Campbell who made a noticeable difference when he came on by fighting for the ball and taking back control of the middle of the park. The worst players today were some of the senior players. Most notably Ainsworth. A lot of bad passing from us and good pressure from Arbroath.
-
Marv and Moult have come back with the same form and work-rate from last season. None of the youngsters looked out of place, even after all the subs. I'm hoping McGhee works with Alan Campbell a bit more like he did with Cadds. I see him making smart decisions and moving better and think he can make a contribution this season. McManus made a couple of mistakes but the one that cost us a goal I can forgive as I think the ball hit one of the hills on the park (which were terrible). Heneghan looks like a good signing. It's only one game but his timing in challenges, good heading and good positioning give me great hopes for the season. Blyth started well and showed some positive signs. First couple of long balls got knocked down to Moutly's feet, but he didn't do it enough. He also got knocked off the ball way too easy for a guy his size.

We took them on in Stenhousemuir a couple of months ago and they were terrible but none of the first team were in their team that day.

Still tickets available

Our host advised I missed the venue in the original post. This will be in the centenary suite at Fir Park. Come and support us.

Yep, I'd take a boring draw before kickoff. I'm worried McGhee will change the formation again and despite winning against United last time, we weren't that good. Some magic from Skippy and Faddy made the difference but it could have easily gone the other way.
