I would be happy if we finished every season in the bottom six safe from relegation if we could be in the final of both cups (winning atleast one of course)

I think the issue is if we want to stay away from the relegation and playoff position we need to beat the teams around us.

While it would be great to get into the top 6 I have to agree with Al B that a cup final would be worth finishing in the bottom 6.

Wonder if the same people who get offended by badge kissers get moist when a player we just sign say how great a club Motherwell is.

Main issue is the refs aren't accountable so they can make the same mistakes and be inconsistent. The whole punishing players and managers when they criticise a ref for a poor performance typifies they can get away with making an arse of things.

I can remember a guy who I used to work with claimed that Cadden is a Celtic fan. Whether it's true or not as long as he continues to do well at the club it doesn't matter . EDIT: Darren Smtih is a former player who supported the 'Well.

The talk of Robinson getting the sack is ludicrous. Yeah we are in a bad run but how can the club progress if we keep changing management every season when they hit a bad run. Football is becoming more of a fucking joke with managers getting punted after a run of bad results without taking the whole season into context.

Would be good if he did play but we don't know if Preston put in a requirement that he didn't to risk injury. That's if such a clause can be made.

Be good to see how the team reacts and picks itself up from a couple of poor results (not in danger mind). I haven't been to any games this season due to financial reasons but based on what I read on here and from the highlights I watch, we seem to be in a much better state than last season.

I believe Tait has himself to blame for adding theatrics to the foul. It was a penalty but throwing his arm around made it look he dived.

I don't know how it works with recruiting youth players but I was wondering if we could use our recent representations of the national teams could be used to attract promising talents in the future.

I think the end of September/early October will be a time where we can tell how our season is going to go.

Surely tho if he is consistently good could we not give me an extension just like we did for Ojamaa when was great in his first couple games?

Thing is the results in the friendlies mean nothing. Pumping teams left, right and centre in the pre-season isn't going to determine the final position of the league.

In all seriousness my expectations would be to finish between 8th and 10th, have a decent cup run in either competitions (win the group) and have 1 or 2 youth players blood in the first team with a couple of appearances.

Where is the fun in that? I kinda enjoy the jobs for boys chat.
