Listening to Clyde last night, the beggars have pounced on our decision to ask Rangers for the use of their training facilities and a couple even used it to bring their point round to sectarianism. Then there was the obligatary timothy/timettes greeting because we were selling tickets until 9pm.The campaign by this lot to ruin Scottish football for everyone is relentless, and with an earlier start than usual planned for next season i think we could be in for a hellish season again.
Nightshift tonight (6am finish) then a backshift tomorrow so i don't have to do my Friday nightshift, got a few tricks up my sleeve for the bhoy who is in tomorrow on dayshift.
30 odd thousand in the 'Well end in '91, i don't suppose they were all Motherwell die hards, its unfortunate but its up to the genuine 'Well fans to make sure its a day to remember.
How will a handful of Rangers fans, who are most likely along with Motherwell supporting friends, going to have any bearing on the atmosphere at Hampden.
Come on, it stands to reason then you wouldn't have made it to Fir Park on Saturday then, that was my gripe.Seeing the Motherwell support outnumbered in a crowd of less than 10k pisses me off and that to me will never be good enough.
It took an hour yesterday to get an East Stand ticket(was upset at missing the kick off, little did i know the queue was better than the game ) and thats without any forms.
I'll be there and just like '91 when around 25k 'we'll support you ever mores' dissapeared between May and August, I'll be back. The elitist pish as you call it has been evident right through this thread but i make no apology for bringing it up on a day when i have seen us absolutely fucked in front of around 4 thousand fans, while people sit in the house arguing about how many tickets we should get for a game that comes after 2 important games at Fir Park
Why?
My fear now is ending up in a row full of day trippers who sit down at 3pm and get back up at 3:45 and do fuck all in between as happened in the CIS semi and the cup semi.
Agreed, but today was like a Rangers home game as all our cup final fans stayed away. Its depressing sitting in an half empty stadium every week then seeing page after page of pish everytime we get into an all ticket game.
Plenty empty seats in the home end today so the fact we are arguing over 16k tickets is embarrasing,we could have had half of Hampden for the semi yet only filled just over half the seats we are getting for the final so i don't think people have grounds for complaint now.
Because it isn't a level playing field,i got searched and name checked at the semi because, according to plod, 'groups of young men arriving together cause concern'I wonder if the same policing would be acceptable to the GB?
7th man also, although Our Lady's was used for Friday nights and South Dalziel for the sunday bits(the bits they made you go to to get a game of football)
The thing is,less and less people have the money to outlay in one go but get paid regulary enough to pay game by game.Personally i pay in till december then get a half season for the remainder so can i demand 50% priority treatment?
The Goon Brigade have previous for this sort of thing and leave from the Brazen Head, sheer volume of numbers and the police being scared of allegations of'anti-irish racism'normally mean they get a free pass.
