Went for Donnelly, was quite impressed when he was in midfield, (not so much at left back though). Gillespie, Tait, Scott and of course Turnbull all played well, albeit in a glorified friendly.

The obvious choice is Turnbull, and for a change I'm going with the obvious. Ariyibi, Campbell and Gillespie all worthy of mention though.

Oops, and I hadn't even had a drink, my apologies to Mr Turnbull.

The first two substitutions changed the flow of the game and I might have voted for Frear if he had scored that one on one at 2-0. Hastie Turnbull is a class act and his finish was sumptuous. I've gone for Gillespie though, if he hadn't saved the penalty it would have been a totally different game.

If Frear had scored that it would have been a goal of the season contender for me.

There is still a chance that Celtic could win the league at Fir Park without even being there, it is unlikely, but Ugly twin blue have to play Killie and Hearts at home either side of the next bigotfest at Parkhead, which means they could come to the Citadel needing a win to keep the League alive. Oh and yes, we do want to finish top six, fun though it would be to potentially relegate Hamilton / Dundee / St. Mirren, I'd rather have the cash thanks.

We were saying that at the game, his form has been crucial to our six game run, rarely the best player on the park, but never the worst, a very consistent performer.

But Stevie was brave enough to let him do it. McCann is even more clueless as a pundit than he was as a manager.

I swithered between Aldred and Turnbull, I went with Turnbull in the end but there was barely a Rizla paper between them. Dunne's match up with that Greco-Roman wrestler Hearts had was entertaining too.

Just home and I haven't stopped laughing at the winner yet. It was a very enjoyable way to spend the early afternoon and even if the game had finished 1-1, I wouldn't have had too many complaints. I thought on balance we just shaded it but I would imagine most Hearts fans think the same, We didn't have as much control of the middle of the park as we have had in the last few games, possibly because Gorrin's yellow card forced him to hang back slightly, but we still managed to create the better chances and if any of the three or four good chances we had in the first 25 minutes of the second half had gone in it could have been a different story.

Scored their second in a 2-0 win. Goals also for Dylan Mackin, Ross Forbes and Dom Thomas. Barry McGuire was sent off.

Lambert didn't do tap-ins either, I have vague memories of a beauty v St Johnstone on a cold mid-week evening. Found it!

Hastie, Ariyibi (first half) make us so much more attractive to watch than pre-Christmas and Main's effort added to his cool finish deserves a mention; but I voted for Aldred; I thought he was immense today.

Just had a chance to sit down and watch it this evening, I'll admit to having a wee tear in my eye on a couple of occasions ( and a big tear at the Cooper, O'Donnell, Dolan and McGrillen section), interesting watch and brought back some great memories. A shame there was no contribution from Maxwell, Paterson, Arnott and, of course, McLean, plus an interview with big Softie would have been quite enlightening. That plus I know the Celtic fan with the tattooed arse, can't wait till I see him again to wind him up.

I always have 38 points in my mind as our first target. I had a quick look back at the recent final league tables, and since the introduction of the play offs, 38 points has been good enough for tenth or better, although St. Mirren did finish 11th with 41 points the year before they were introduced. That said, I suspect that at least one of the current bottom three won't reach 30 points this year and 38 points will be more than enough for safety.

I don't normally vote when I don't attend, but having watched the full 90 minutes on Alba, I decided to break the normal rule. Frear for me, looked like the player we all hoped he would be when he first played. Honourable mentions for Aldred, Grimshaw and Turnbull.

I could make a case for Gillespie, Mbulu, Campbell, Main or Johnson. It seems strange not to vote for a striker who scored twice and put in a great shift, but Grimshaw gets my vote, his second half performance was outstanding.

It has to be Turnbull, he works hard, he is comfortable on the ball and he is prepared to put his laces through it when the chance arises. Cadden, Tait, McHugh, Grimshaw and Bigiramana all impressed too.

Steven Lawleff?

Agreed, he looked like the big next thing for a while but whether it was his slight build or just a lack of desire to keep working hard, he definitely didn't achieve what his talent promised. I also have a clear memory of a mid-week game on a horrible night of rain, wind and near zero temperatures and Ian was just hanging about on the wing with his hands tucked up into his sleeves looking miserable and dis-interested. I think he was off to Morton not long after that.
