  1. I just didn't tick it so that I didn't get any Hibs advertising Problem solved
  2. That was so easy even an old fart like me managed it (with only minimal help)
  3. I'm using the Greenacres bus, which involves walking the length of Sandilands Crescent, to be fair it is mostly uphill.
  4. I thought the last thirty seconds were hilarious, McGowan twisting and turning in his own half while Bigi (hopefully telling him what a dick he is) was stopping him turn towards the half way line, then, when the full time whistle went, he threw a tantrum before being dragged away by the bastion of rational behaviour that is Neil McCann.
  5. I would love to vote for the cult hero that is Kipre but I'm going with Grimshaw by a short nose. Carson, Aldred, Dunne and Campbell were all worthy of mention
  6. Nope, one point and we are safe, we cannot finish bottom as things stand but there is a sequence of results that could see us finish eleventh on goal difference.
  7. Your right, it was the original "psycho" who missed. I'm sure it was at the east terrace though. The 1986 semi (5-4 loss on penalties?) and the '91 games were definitely the covered end.
  8. I don't disagree with your general point, but I do remember a mid-eighties cup semi versus the green uglies when we had the uncovered end (traditionally known as the Celtic end ). 1984 I think, the first game finished 1-1, McAllister for us and Tommy Burns with the equaliser, Willie McVie missed a sitter late on, needless to say, we lost the replay 3-0.
  9. In the absence of a "Whole team" option I have gone with Main, but I could make a case for all eleven of the starting line up.
  10. What a great way to spend a Saturday. Eleven heroes today, we're possibly (definitely) not the most attractive team to watch, but they put in 100%. and we can't ask for any more than that.
  11. Curiously, Griffiths has saved the only one he has faced (I think). Not that I'm advocating Griffiths starting ahead of Carson.
  12. I find myself agreeing with all of that. I'd loved to have seen Scott Brown try some of his pish with Peter Millar, Stuart McLaren or Willie McVie, that would have been some laugh.
  13. Curtis Main, strength, ability and heart. No failures today but Main was a stand out for me.
  14. Could have been one of a few, Carson, Dunne, Aldred, Tait and Main all deserve mention, but Allan Campbell was outstanding today.
  15. Now, now, now, sarcasm doesn't become you.
  16. I don't really care now about what was or wasn't a foul / goal, I just love beating Hearts. (Get it right up ye Levein) As to the Game, I thought Carson, Tait, Dunne, McHugh, Campbell and Main were outstanding, Kipre, penalty excepted, was decent as was Cadden, Tanner tried hard but made a couple of bad decisions on the break, Aldred possibly looked too "up for it" and made a few hurried clearances when a cooler head would have helped us keep possession and take the sting out of Hearts when they were on top and Ciftci was dissappointing. Bowman and Frear contributed in a positive sense and Rose wasn't on long enough for me to form an opinion. Special mention to the referees, I don't know which one was worse, Dallas or Naismith.
  17. I went with McHugh in the end, not just for his goal, his protection of the defence at times was outstanding, Carson, Campbell, Tait and Main were all worthy of consideration.
  18. You could be right, as I alluded to, my memory is pretty poor and it was 40+ years ago. My dad was from Leslie near Kirkaldy and we headed up to my Gran's every second or third weekend so my brother and I persuaded him to drop us in Cowdenbeath on route, then to come back for us at five o'clock, aged 12 and 15 an away game (unsupervised) was a big occasion so it sticks in the memory a bit more than a typical Saturday at F. P.
  19. My memory is we won two nil and it absolutely hosed down for ninety minutes, my memory is notoriously (t)rusty though. Oh, and as Weeyin says, Marinello was a fantastic player and is right up there in my list of all time 'Well favourites.
  20. That worked well for Raith Rovers
  21. For what it is worth, I fully agree that Katie's comment was a dig, it was an opinion regarding the mentality of some of the posters on here and it is an opinion which I wholeheartedly agree with. Clackscat has already, much more eloquently than I would have, made that argument, however, I will add that, regardless of the attendance, a lot of posters, myself included, tend to avoid the forums in the immediate aftermath of a defeat due to the incessant negativity of some of the members of this forum, which would balance out the spectator to post ratio, at least to some extent. If we use me as a case study (totally pointless, I know, but I'm going to do it anyway), after the Killie game, which I attended, I posted once in the match thread, after the Dundee game , which I did not attend, I have now posted three times. Lies, damn lies and statistics. PS, sorry if I've upset you. PPS I was going to point out that Katie is female (the clue was in the name) but I see she has already done that
  22. After last week's game against Kilmarnock there were 207 replies by midnight on the Sunday (we lost 1-0). So far today, admittedly with 2 and a half hours still to go till midnight, there have been 75 replies to yesterday's game (we won 1-0). But carry on telling yourself, and others, that that is the reason, if you really think it.
  23. Three wins this season at Dens, does that mean we get to keep them?
