  1. I've been impressed every time I've seen him, except today, out of position a few times and a bit panicky at the end when we were defending too deeply. That could be a criticism of the entire back 4 today admittedly.
  2. Moult (for obvious reasons). Honourable mentions to Cadden, Clay and Bowman.

    Loan Signings

I did think of Shuggie Sproat, in my opinion a comparable standard of keeper with Rennie, but Stuart was a hero of mine so I gave him the nod as second to McRae. I will admit to having forgotten about McCloy though, put it down to age.

    Left Backs

I remember him having to deputise for an injured keeper on a few occasions, more exact details are long lost in the mists of time.

    Left Backs

Thanks!!!! I've been trying for years to forget that McSkimming played for us at all.

    Loan Signings

I remember him playing centre forward in one of his early appearances, I might be wrong though, I was only about 6

    Left Backs

And was also a pretty decent goalie

    Loan Signings

Just one of many mistakes, but that Hearts game was one of the worst goalkeeping performances I ever had the misfortune to witness.

    Loan Signings

Agreed, Keith McRae, Stuart Rennie, John Gardner (only joking about that one) I think we can assume Milo is but a callow youth
  10. Cadden, not even close. Tait, Heneghan, Chalmers and Clay impressed also.
  11. Nope, absolutely nothing stuck to him at all today, fair enough you don't expect him to win a majority of high balls, but his inability to pass the ball three yards is incredibly frustrating. Cadden was head and shoulders above the rest today.
  12. I don't wholeheartedly agree with the statement But it made me laugh out loud

    Pre Season?

Heneghan strolled through the first half, Campbell looked very useful, if a bit one footed, and Turnbull looks a player too, Blyth didn't do much wrong but he didn't show much that would suggest he would force his way into the starting 11. The second half was a bit bitty with all the subs and it was hard to judge the keeper or the defenders in the second half because they weren't under any sort of pressure, the first teamers that played all looked in decent condition, and I was quite impressed with Moore's work rate when he came on, a season down at Ayr looks to have given him a lot of confidence. I think McGhee will be quite happy with what he saw and all in all it was not too bad a way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

    Pre Season?

I'll be there, I need a fix of real football after this poncy Euro stuff
  15. I'm glad it's not just me that couldn't give one f{}£k about the champions(?) league
  16. My first game was a League Cup game v Clyde in 1967, for years I thought it finished 0-0 but according to 'Well again" it was a 2-2 cracker. I also suspect I was only there because my Mum told my brother he wasn't allowed to go unless he took me with him.
  17. Ripley, closely followed by Moult and Kennedy.
  18. Stevie Woods in one goal and Billy the Fish in the other, I've got a headache just thinking about them.
  19. I clicked null vote and always do when I don't attend a game, the reason being if you do either of the other options then you don't see how the voting stands when you revisit the thread.
  20. We were discussing that at half time and I couldn't make up my mind what was my favourite Psycho moment. I decided on the goal in the semi-final but it was a very close call between that and Peter Grant's unprovoked attack on Psycho's elbow.
  21. No brainer today, Scott MacDonald. Honourable mentions for Moult and Cadden.
  22. The first half was as bad as I've watched for a long time, we probably deserved the lead though because Thistle were awful. Second half was much improved, great second from Moult after a sublime through ball from MacDonald and a sweet strike from Marvin which should have put the game to bed. I'll need to watch their goal again but from the Cooper it just looked like a horrendous piece of goal keeping. The next 5 or so minutes were a bit hairy but we at least saw the game out comfortably in the end.
