According to the BBC he is available for tomorrow and will miss the following game, depending on how harshly the SPL decide to deal with his red card:
-
Nearly every Scotland U21 game he participated in. Head and shoulders the best player on the park (which infrequently included Faddy being on the field at the same time). 80-90% was awarded MotM. This was prior to him signing for us. He had the quality, just never fulfilled it after his leg break at Fir Park for Livi. And his attitude, everyone is familiar with..
-
He changed his allegiance back the other month, when he went down to Barnsley. He is now eligble AFAIK to be included in any future Scotland selection if deemed suitable.
-
Never fails. Every 50/50 counts. Every 2nd ball. Every pass back to be chased down. Every long ball chased into the corner. For 90/120mins it's all we ask..

Never have I been so nervous over a football matches. Stomach is actually in knots, don't want to contemplate losing - and can't help but think of Motherwell still being in European Competition come December, and imagining Sevilla, Sampdoria, Juve, Liverpool, Stuttgart, Atletico Madrid, Man City turning up at Fir Park in the fog, frost and snow. And also being able to witness the East Stand give pelters to Fernando Torres, Carlos Tevez, Jesus Navas, Antonio Cassano, Diego, Kún Aguero etc. As well as obviously Jenno being able to truly show he is better than Steve Gerrard, Gerrard. We won't ever have a better chance - and that's what scares me most. As if we fail tonight, then we never will get to "the promise land" of the Group Stages. At least with Nancy, we all tried to remain optimistic before the 2nd leg, but the purists knew we were truly up against it. Whereas now, we are a match for Odense - no doubt. I really don't wanna think about being at Fir Park with >10,000 'Well fans glum come 9.30pm (or 10.30pm if ET/Pens are required). Let's hope it is a party like atmosphere like after the 6-6 game. And Fir Park witnesses a historic night. I hope that the stadium is absolutely rocking (I don't harbour much hope, but it is so vital). And for the love of god - the fuckwits in the East that don't understand 2-legged football, don't moan that we are not attacking if and when we sit back on our lead i.e 2-0 up against Aalesund, game relatively safe and in the bag, which was followed by ridiculous statements that we weren't attacking, or being creative. Well it's a 2-legged tie and goal difference doesn't count. Please grasp that fact. So, if we are 1-0 up with 25mins to go - get behind them and don't criticise that they aint going all out to tonk the Danes. Hopefully the East Stand section can do their work to Carroll (in a similar way to Broadfoot on numerous games at FP) and throw him off his concentration. Certainly gonna me a memorable night one way or another. And let's hope it is Kool and the Gang come Full Time and not Chumbawumba..

We should still receive a "development fee" for him, likewise Rangers.
-
Can't see how he would be suspended for the 2nd leg anyway, and be able to play in the 1st. UEFA rules are not as ambiguous as the SPL/EPL where you can play x amount of games before a ban kicks in. UEFA's rules stipulate that you miss the following match - unless in cases of appeal. But, as for Utaka, he was not booked in either match against the Bosnians, Zrjinski in the previous round. So, can't see how he would be banned for our meeting at Fir Park anyway.
-
Perhaps he was "on his heels" a tad and couldn't make the interception, with the ball being that bit too far in front. However, that doesn't detract from the fact that the defensive line was perfect and in sync - bar Craigan whom was a good 10 yards behind the rest, thus allowing Utaka onside and therefore too much of a gap between Craigan and the rest of the defence, giving Saunders/Reynolds too much of a deficit to make up in order to assist Craigan against Utaka. Never should we have allowed a one-on-one situation. Craigan was completely at fault for his position. Also, the way he appeared to just "give in" when Utaka had broke free, yes he was never going to catch him in a race - but the least we expect is you burst your gut to get back on the line.

Brondby 2 up away in Lisbon at the moment. Really puts our performance and result into persepective.
-
Not a hope in hell of that happening. Heavily linked with Ipswich - and the only team he'd come back up here for is Celtic. So far outwith our reach nowadays unfortunately.
-
Myrie-Williams has been a dirty, cheating, diving bastard whenever he has played against us. Very little end product. No better than Humphrey.
-
5 Strikers is enough for a club of our size as it is.
-
1. Celtic - The money that has gone out, should ensure enough to win the SPL, and with McGeady away they won't need to play one-dimensional by everything going through him and ultimately failing when he tries one trick too many, or his cross fails to beat the 1st man. Stronger squad than Rangers should get them the title. Although a tactically inept manager at the helm. 2. Rangers - Threadbare squad, CL commitments to begin with, and no longer have Boyd's goals to bail them out when struggling away from home against the bottom 6. 3. Hibernian - Their fire power should be enough to get them top 3, with there front trio easily capable of grabbing 10+ per season - we saw the benefits of that with Clarky, Porter, Roscoe. Same applies here, and despite Hughes being vastly over-rated - will still have enough to bail them into 3rd. 4. Dundee United - Had a chance to progress, but with no new signings, will be one step back for them, really need to hang on to Conway as well, or they will be lacking a great deal of creativity. 5. Hearts - Decent SPL signings in Elliott, Kyle and Barr, now with Jeffries in charge, they should be tactically well-off and hard to beat, slight improvement on last season. 6. Motherwell - Can see us making the Group Stages, therefore will affect our start to the season, and can see us only kicking on for the 2nd half of the season, similar to last season, Brown will always get results for his teams ------------------ 7. St Johnstone - Decent calibre of player brought in, with a wealth of experience, McIness has done a good job, and another years experience will maintain there SPL survival 8. Aberdeen - Signing an over-the-hill Hartley doesn't make up for there poor team, relying too much on youngsters, and lost one of there more creative players in Mulgrew, and besides McGhee is too stubborn to change. 9. Hamilton - Still pish, just less pish than the other 3, signnigs have been slightly more inspiring than the bottom 3. 10. I.C.T - Butcher will make sure they fight to stay up, as per no-one will like the long trip up north 11. St Mirren - Unproven manager at SPL level, loaded with lower league players, no Dorman/Mehmet 12. Kilmarnock - Tactically inept manager, threadbare squad, no cash, no goalscorers

Not to mention the likelihood is the prices will be bumped up if get a glamour tie against Liverpool, Villa or City. As our prices will be comparable with what they would charge at Eastlands, Villa Park or Anfield. So, therefore the amount of fans that have brought there wives/kids with them to the AAFK game would be more reluctant to do so. Numbers will be affected, the only reason the Nancy game was cheap for us was due to the French only charging like €5 for a ticket + a free Maccy's. The English sides won't be as keen, and therefore expect £23 and £15 probably for this "glamour" tie - and that would probably stop the 13,742 attendance. Not from an English or Liverpool point of view. Motherwell vs Liverpool from a Liverpool perspective is the same as us playing Stevenage Borough or the likes. We wouldn't give a toss, and neither would Liverpool in this scenario.

They may not be title challenging for the Bundesliga anymore, however they are filled with World Class players. Nelson Valdez had a very impressive World Cup. Mohammed Zidan is arguably Egypt's best player, who in turn are probably the best African nation - albeit missing out on the World Cup. With other decent players such as Lewandowski, Dede and Kehl - they are far greater opposition than the Nancy team that beat us with ease.
-
Seasons ticket holders will be given priority similar to Nancy, whenever the club anticipates a mad rush. General sale will then go for the remainder. Like always, whoever wants a ticket - will get a ticket.

Than winning a game against a club who are 1. Smaller than us. Average crowd is bigger than ours, capacity wise it's comparable. Population wise of both towns is also comparable. Success wise - they have won more trophies in the last generation than we have 2. First European Game. We have hardly been blessed with European Games ourselves, and are hardly a European superpower - we are extremely inexperienced at this level as well. 3. Have less attacking Options than ourselves, having only one Striker(he may be the size of two of our on top of each other however.) But hes not really rated, hes seen to be pretty shite unless in the air. We have two recognised strikers that have actually started more than 5 games in there career, one of which is now playing LW and the other being very hot and cold. And well Spain did alright with only one real forward? Kenny Deuchar is regarded as shite by most on here (and rightfully so), however, at times last season we made him look like Drogba - when up against Craigan and Reynolds. So, we struggle against height - whether he is technically capable or not. 4. Lacking any real quality or creativity. Aren't we? We are filled with defensive midfielders in key areas. Bar perhaps Forbes when he is playing well, we dont have a player from the midfield (that is likely to start the match) that can create much - on a regular basis. If anything our most creative player is our LB, and being away from home, is unlikely to venture too far forward - that often. 5. Best player is a goal Keeper! Many would argue that our best player last season was Ruddy and with that logic that we must have been pish as well? So that not only means we will struggle to score against them, but the emphasis now is not conceding as scoring ourselves will prove to be far more difficult.

£400k wasnt it that Quinn went for? I assume it was half up front then half at the Jan transfer window - prob talking about £200k perhaps.

Typically, Icelandic league matches kick off usually 21.00 our time. So, the 22.05 seems quite logical.

Not that far off the standard of Christophe Berra, and he coped perfectly well in his debut season in the Prem.
