  1. At the moment we are scheduled as follows; 15/08/2010 vs Hibernian ESPN live 12pm 29/08/2010 vs Celtic ESPN live 12pm 13/11/2010 vs Hibernian BBC Alba delayed coverage 28/11/2010 vs Hearts Sky Sports live 2:15pm A bit of info for anyone who may be interested.
  2. We have as good a chance as we were ever going to have, so i'm happy with that draw. It's a tie we can win.
  3. Does anyone have a link to the page broadcasting the game on radio?
  4. It's basically a more detailed version of what I mentioned in the initial post, so there wasn't really any need for the bashing of the season book holders (not that i'm saying you actually did that, of course). A limit of two tickets per book ought to do the job in my opinion. Obviously there's a chance that the game won't sell out, but if we draw someone like Liverpool, and considering the following the EPL has, there is a chance that we could see a sell-out.
  5. I never mentioned supporters clubs though. I said that season ticket holders and those who had bought tickets for the previous two Europa League games should perhaps be given priority.
  6. Some people have work commitments that mean they can't get down to the ticket office at 9am on a Tuesday or whatever.
  7. With all due respect to Nancy, I don't consider them to be the same attraction that Juventus or especially Liverpool would be.
  8. I'd have to think that a football shirt produced by a company like Puma isn't going to fall apart in the wash anytime soon.
  9. I may be jumping the gun a bit by looking past Aalesund, but i've been thinking recently about what happens if we get past them and draw someone such as Juventus, Liverpool or Dortmund? Obviously, a draw against Liverpool would be all well & good, but we are likely to face a fair bit of demand for tickets, aren't we? How many people would like to see a system in place for distributing the tickets for the home game? Some thing like season ticket holders getting first choice, followed by the fans who had gone to both home games in the previous rounds etc? If nothing like that is in place we'll have people who have never stepped foot inside Fir Park getting tickets simply to see Steven Gerrard or Del Piero, whilst actual fans who supported the club through the previous rounds maybe not being able to get down to the stadium quickly enough to get their tickets. Whilst i'd love to see Fir Park full for a real glamour game, i'd hate to miss out on possibly our biggest European game in our history because there was a rush of Sky Sports subscribers wearing Fernando Torres headbands snapping up all the tickets.
  10. He's just signed for Aberdeen, so he's as good as finished.
  11. Whilst i'm not quite as dismissive of Aalesund as Motherwell89, I really don't see any reason to fear them. Unless i'm mistaken the best they've managed in recent times is 11th in their league, which isn't exactly the strongest, and they haven't played in Europe before. This is our third consecutive season in Europe, and we've been punching above our weight domestically in recent times. I'll take a 1-1 draw in Norway, and a decent win at Fir Park.

Nice to hear that, thanks for passing that on Flow
  13. Well, i've not seen anything in this thread or from my own sniffing around to make me change my original prediction of us getting a 1-1 draw at least.
  14. £15 per ticket again? That's good news, and hopefully we'll get at least as many bodies through the gate as we did for the game with Breidablik.
  15. It appears you've made a roaring c*nt of yourself there, eh?

Would someone not be better off posting the usual ticket office & club shop opening hours and pinning the thread to the top of the page? It gets asked at least a few times every month.
  17. Christ, we have Norwegians & Icelanders arguing on a Motherwell forum. When did we get so cosmopolitan?
  18. Hopefully you'll be able to keep us up to date on the tv coverage situation my friend. If it's on TV, there's a good chance we'll get it on the internet y'see.
  19. Much like the 1st leg, i'm going with Lasley. He's been the quiet man in midfield who's held the team together, been available for the ball constantly, and been putting in the tackles when needed. Again, he was all over the pitch today. I'm looking for a good season from him based on the past two outings i've seen.
  20. Well, it's Norway on Thursday now. I think we need to score away to have a real chance of winning this tie, and i'm fairly confident we can get the goal we need. I'll go for a 1-1 draw.
  21. There's nothing like optimism. It's one of the things I love about fellow 'Well fans.
  22. We are going to be a better side by next week though, as we'll be a little fitter. What you've seen tonight is us at our worst, and we've still managed to get the away goal. I fully expect us to do the same to you lot as well
