If the four names on the list are accurate, then none leave me particularly excited. Mind you, I can't actually think of a name realistically within our budget that I think "that's the one we need". Reckon part of the reason is that, like a lot of us probably, I don't think that the squad is good enough so any manager is going to be reliant on us doing some very good transfer business this January. Spectacular business. Which I fear we will struggle to do....

Aaron Chapman hopefully with PJ Morrison recalled. I wouldn't be risking Carson on that pitch today. Would probably say the same for Carroll at this point in his recovery. I'd be inclined to go with Morrison O'Donnell Mugabi Gallagher McGinlay Grimshaw Campbell Maguire Crawford Cole Watt Frankly a poor looking lineup but with Carson and Carroll not worth risking, Donnelly injured and Polworth out of form, it's all that's available. Lamie, White, Seedorf and Hastie can all go as far as I'm concerned...

St Mireen are passing through the midfield with so much ease, I fail to see how removing a centre midfielder would help. Unless you're suggesting a diamond midfield which doesn't really offer the protection you're after for the full backs..

352 Archer Mugabi Gallagher O'Hara O'Donnell Campbell Maguire Polworth McGinlay Watt Lang/Cole Dunno who suggested playing Hastie or Seedorf against Tait but a complete no-no. Two poor wingers that Tait has had the benefit of facing in training on a regular basis. There's no formation or lineup that's going to get universal approval. For me Long, Hastie, Lamie, White and Seedorf should be nowhere near the starting lineup and frankly if all of them were removed from the wage bill in January, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world...

The goal had been coming all second half. Responded well but don't feel we look likely to score. As I type this, we hit the post. One of those days...?
