Also, as many of our corners ARE hit beyond the far post, why not put someone out there to nod it back in, I thought I saw McCall signalling that to Murphy but he just shrugged.
Hately is not rubbish, he is a good right back, agree he doesn't need to take all the set pieces tho. His cross for Murphy in the first half should have been put away.
Ojamaa is not always effective but his energy is the best bit about the team at the moment. Would also be happier to see the set pieces spread around the team a bit. On another note, who is on penalties now?
If Carswell came in Humphrey would drop out, then he could be used as an impact sub after 60 minutes against a tiring defence. Its not a bad idea to have a potential game changer on the bench, don't think we do at the moment
I can appreciate what the big man does and I also understand where he is lacking, ideally we would have a guy like big Lucas or Andy Carroll, but we don't and we probably never will
In the summer we were all gung ho about supporting the club financially - are we still as committed or has the euphoria died down. A number of season ticket holders committed (?) to leaving their ST book at home when playing Club 12 to compensate for the lack of a Sevco gate. Dundee are Club 12, anyone still up for it? this?
Play the ball to the big man at any height up to chest level an he will control it and feed someone in, it is the balls at head height where all the wrestling starts
