I haven’t gone back to listen again but I took it that he came into a situation where the chat was that Dec would leave , SOD was out of contract and weighing up his options, and Campbell was generating interest down south and was keen to explore it. He described this as half the squad looking to get away. So not as literal as some are taking it. Could be wrong.

I think 80% of next year’s squad is already at the club. A small number of ‘quality’ players should be added. Trying to build something from a solid core will be easier than trying to get 11 new mercenaries to gel.

I am hopeful that we get a turn out of players in their second season e.g Liam Donnelly and I think back to players like Martyn Corrigan who grew into the team over time. So if folk like Lamie and McGinley stick around, they know the club better, the management know them better, perhaps a more fruitful contribution could ensue. Wishful thinking?
