If Turnbull had never gone to Celtic he would be in the squad, especially if he had never had that medical he would have been there for 2 years now. His time will come, there should be a clear out after a major championship and the squad will be rebuilt with those currently seen as prospects e.g. Turnbull, Gilmour etc.

I would like to see Hamilton get a draw (not much damage to us) and St Johnstone to win. This would leave St Mirren in the bottom six and give us a chance to finish above them as we have done every season since 1989.

A win and a draw in our two games against Kilmarnock will mean no direct relegation.

I was looking for GA to be appointed when the short list emerged but to me he now seems to have a chip on his shoulder, whether it is his treatment from the refs, what he has found in the dressing room or something else, I don’t know. I hope he sees us safe, brings in 2 or 3 of his own signings and starts next season on a high.
