The third was created by some tight short passing on the sideline before playing the ball into space for Boyle to run with. Our goal wasn’t denied for offside, the whistle went before the ball was struck, presumably it was for a harsh handball, we wouldn’t be bottom of the league if it had stood.

If we sell Carson with a sell-on clause, do Hartlepool get their share of that sell-on clause if it generates any money? It would seem reasonable to me that they do as it would form part of our total transfer fee intake for him.

Does anyone understand why Barry Maguire and Liam Brown are suspended for the first game of the season, date incurred 23rd March but suspension reapplied due to age restrictions. is it U20 suspensions that now apply to the first team as they are older?
