Thought we looked good first half. Dare i say it the closest to a JBA team since the new gaffer came in. 2nd half we regressed badly but still created the best chances. The build up to Tawandas effort was proper football. No idea what Jonny K thought when he was pulling the trigger. Noticed Longello belting up the tunnel with his towel after being hooked. Injured or soor face??

Brilliant to get the result & while some of it wasnt sparkling, there was plenty good in there including the goal to get excited about. I dont think we are that far away to be honest. Invest some of our war chest in a striker, play tawanda and longello either side & said in the 10 slot. Easier said than done of course & we may lose some of them before the window closes. That would seem to me to be a pretty formidable front line.

Iv had a worry in the two matches about the differences as well. What i would say is that there was a period early 2nd half lastnight where it looked to have clicked & we were really zipping the ball about. Hopefully its the start of the development. No reason to panic yet & once we have three or four league games under our belts we will have a better idea of where we are

Money makes the world go round. Not as easy as it sounds but....... work with NLC, buy the school out - assist them to relocate if necessary, that effectivly doubles the FP footprint when you take into account our pitches. That allows much more of a redevelopment/new stadium on the existing site, keeping us in touch with the town & our roots while realising many of the benefits G&F puts forward. As i said, not easy but its certainly worth exploring, particularly when we have funds which can smooth the process........

Good win, could have been more. Only 2 of the starting 11 were what you would say our first choice 11 from last season. Thats some turnaround! Their number 7 caught the eye. Pace to burn & looked very direct. Are we big enough to say to HB Torshvan, thanks for the game, now give us your player.....

Agree it feels like that however both jens & the chairman have said previously we wont be selling everyone at once. Could we end up keeping hold of the ones we thought were heading out the door......

I reckon Priestman is going to be a huge player for us this season

Quite a few sports the best coaches have never been elite players. No idea if efford is good at coaching or not but fair play to him making a go of it
