Quite a lot of the elder generation dont want to or dont have the confidence in technology. As easy as it is, its a generational thing and perfectly understandable.

Hopefully Glass is still their manager by next Saturday - we have their number. Nothing to fear
-
I agree with your opinion of them however i was shocked driving home, Miller was 100% viewing the same game we did. After the goal, we asserted ourselves and the day belonged to us. Fair play, i really didnt expect him to come out with it

I thought we were excellent most of the game, by far the better team. We came back from the goal well and dominated. My only critisism is that the last 10mins of Aberdeen pressure was all of our own making. I understand there are times to shut up shop but we were pounding Aberdeen. Taking off the attackers and bringing everyone back gifted Aberdeen their best 10 minutes of pressure. Had they scored, we were heading into ET with no real goal threats. GA needs to learn a happy medium. Anyway, we are through, we played well and we got some goals. Lots to be positive about. Enjoy your evening. She wore.....

I personally thought Aarons looked pretty decent on a few of his appearances and he was unlucky the onset of covid sent him home early. When he joined he was up doing a fair bit training at the David Lloyd in Hamilton after hours, and then even once covid was a thing and gyms were shut - but before the league was officially terminated I saw him blasting round the Palace grounds on quite a few occasions on his tod. Fitness bands, balls, training aids, the guy looked to be putting a shift in on his own time - doesnt necessarily mean he is any good of course. Didn't seem to be a waster however.
-
Early days of course but I liked the fact that he seemed to be quite direct and actually tried to press forward with the ball towards the goal. Something the rest of our attackers don't really know how to do. He certainly deserves more time and would be quite interesting to see how he and VV can compliment each other. Of course, he may well be pish.

Obviously Celtic are better than us and if they turn up like they did in the first 45 on Wednesday we will get scudded, however....... they havent been at all consistent this season, even last Saturday they struggled to a 1-0 home win against a poor Dundee United. After them finally putting in the performance, leathering Rangers and going top of the league, it wouldnt be that big a surprise for them to fuck up against us. Would bite your hand off for a 1-1 right now....

I thought the rules got changed up to 5 at the winter break. Think only Hearts maybe complained. I could be totally wrong tho
-
I wasn't a Woolerly fan but I thought the last 4 or 5 games before the christmas break he really came onto a game and was a great addition to the team. He wasn't up to scratch at the weekend but hopefully its just temporary
-
After Tuesdays result and the managers reaction, i reckon we will absolutely smash them!!
-
He doesn't really say anything controversial there at all. We might not agree with the motivation for going to Dundee United, but can't fault what he says there. He praises his new employers, is happy with his decision and doesn't bad mouth Motherwell. All fair enough, time to move on.

There was always question marks over Watts ability to stick the ball in the back of the net. As much as we could all see his football brain and technical skills, did any Motherwell fan seriously think Watt would be hanging around the top of the goal scorers chart? That doesn't mean i disagree with you on Shankland by the way

Dont forget she put Holland into a full lockdown at the weekend, shes shut the boozers in Ireland at 8pm each night and i believe cancelled all the dancing in Portugal. Just wait till boxing day when she rolls out restrictions in England with next to no notice, then shit will really hit the fan

Next thing he will be telling us the player of the year is a fat bas!
-
All the while being under serious pressure from @MJC_mkII
-
We tried that against Rangers and they took 6 off us. Dundee United tried it against Celtic and it was some kind of miracle it only finished 3. We should have a go at them, they are dodgy at the back and they don't like it up them
-
If we play like Saturday then you would have to fancy us for the win, however this is Motherwell we are talking about..... we have just beaten Aberdeen and Hearts so it would be natural for us to get turned over by the lesser side of the bunch.

They were all excellent. Woolery for me today, perhaps because hes usually pish but i thought he was top drawer today

100%

Also, big Solholm is going to be a fans folk hero isnt he. The big handsome scandinavian!

Iv been critical of the way we set up this season but that was a brilliant performance. We pressed high, we fought for everything and we opened up and had a good go. Could easily have scored 5 or 6 today. We only looked a bit frustrating last 10mins when we decided to shut up the shop. To a man, the players were all excellent. I thought Woolery was superb. Midway through second half he absolutley busted a gut getting back snd stopping a hearts break. Onwards and upwards. Mon the 'well!

My main issue is that we appear to have players that should be a "less pisher" watch
-
The result is great and the points tally more than decent. Did you honestly enjoy watching St Mirren and Rangers piss all over us? Im not calling for the managers head. I actually think, man for man he has brought in a more than sble set of players. I just want to see us be a bit more expansive

To be fair, last season he was

Beavis has been pretty good this season - certainly by the standards he set last year. SOD has been poor
