Whats the story here?
-
Aye, it will be on somewhere. I got the game against Queens Park put on in a pub in Portugal in the summer. No signs for it obviously. Just ask at a few bars.
-
The fact that Celtic have not played us yet must count in our favour. Yes, they are better than us but this Motherwell team are a different animal from anything they have faced domesticlly at least this season. No chance Robbo will have us sitting back asking to be slaughtered like Aberdeen did a few weeks ago. Getting excited now!

Accies at Fir Park is nothing to fear, particularly if we still have King Louis.

He still gets security. He can sign a pre contract in January and play with us till the end of the season -

It will be interesting to see what the clubs strategy is. Robinson said yesterday we wont undersell him. Out of contract or not in the summer, that might mean we still wont be accepting £200k bids for hìm in January given we probably cover that in prize money keeping him. Whats the break point between getting decent cash and teams being willing to spend on a guy they could sign pre-contract? I suppose the other thing is that if he goes for free, we cant get a sell on clause in there. From a purely selfish love the guy way, lets just keep him till June! -

I just hope when it comes, its a good high end Championship/ low EPL club that wants him and blows the hopes of all of these wankers out the water up here. Some Rangers fans iv spoken to seem confidenced theyll get him in January. -
Really starting to worry now.... Weans due on the 30th so could come anytime really. Chances of the 26th.... Aside from that, im pretty confident we are going there to give Celtic a game.

1-0 Moult -
Didn't we just put a 4 year deal around his neck? If they want him, then they have to come up with the goods

We got into the stand itself (with our beer from the Cooper bar), at the semi.
-
Great news on the club buses. Hopefully they put in place additional kiosks to buy drinks in the cooper and concourse. Pre and post semi was a great atmosphere except for the fact the main bar has 1 till and there was 1 bottle bar up the back. A few bottle bars including some down in the stand itself will cater better to the demand and make things run a but better.

Aberdeen sat back a couple of weeks ago and got their arse handed to them. Celtic are better than us. What do we have going for us? High intensity, in their faces. Play to our strengths, using that we comfortably saw off both Aberdeen and Rangers. It is the best chance we have. We also probably only have one chance to hit them with that treatment and get the 'shock and awe' going. Fortunatley the final is game one of the three.
-
Im not sure on that. Kipre isnt getting ripped to shreds because he started the season so well. He's certainly had a few howlers in the last few games but because we have all seen what he can do, the old war cry of 'get him tae fuck, he's pish' wouldnt really carry as much weight.
-
I agree he shouldnt go getting involved in a slagging match but when grown men are standing 5metres or less away from him bursting blood vessels and shouting "Al fuckin see you in the carpark ya....." then theres really only so much you can do to block it out. I still cant get my head around fans getting offended when a player has the balls to give them something back. Granted, a ref is slightly different but a sly chuckle and smirk from him is hardly the end of the world.
-
Madden didnt cause us to lose the game but he does suffer the same flaw as the majority of scottish refs in that if a player has a big reputation then the refs let them away with murder. Its always been the case - Naismith, Brown and yesterday McGinn. We can't really complain too much as we have benefited from this in recent years with the stuff Faddy and Skippy got away with. Moults been getting a pass from these guys too now as he is one of the leagues big boys. As for Madden laughing. What was he meant to do? He's got half the East Stand singing at him with numerous grown men foaming at the mouth losing their shit and challenging him to a fight in the car park. I was pissing myself at some of the reactions. No wonder he did. He's still a shite ref tho!

Just read and watched the clips. Brilliant for us considering the last few days reporting! Even better, thats Ryan Jacks THIRD red this season!
-
Half watching sheep v celtic. Aberdeen sitting off them and getting destroyed. Think its safe to say we wont be giving Celtic as much space to let them play. They might still hump us, but cant see us inviting them to do so as Aberdeen are.
-
Any live comms?
-
I heard them report it on sportsound just before the match and to be fair they seemed to have taken a step back. Chick Young said both teams were playing hard, Miller, English and Gordon were asking if the Rangers programme reported the elbow on Moult or the Alves kick out. They belitted Cardoso a bit. Refreshing to hear
-
To be fair, thats not really a bad one. It's reporting the facts and Rangers statement. It's not going to town on us or our players and not offering their own comment and views.
-
As funny as that is i wish it had all got swept under the carpet. Despite Stevies great efforts in the presser, the agenda has been set against us and Bowman. The last thing we need is a Rangers with chip on shoulder bleating the case to their media chums.
-
Press conference was top class. What we really need though is a sympathetic reporter/pundit to pick up on it and run with it (the facts as stated by the manager) rather than sweeping what he said under the carpet or looking to twist it and get a response from Rogers.
