  1. Maybe not quite accurate. Hearts didn't really present us any problems until we went a man down. But yes, in general, we are terrible
  2. Thats the second time I have read McNamarra on these forums. Why would he be worthy? Got Dundee United into a hole they couldn't escape from whilst lining his own pockets then got punted from York after a record breaking run of losses. No thanks.
  3. I would agree with that, but I also wonder as to what extent McGhee’s bizarre formations, and selections had to do with the team either losing interest or quite frankly, ‘not having a skooby’ what they are meant to be doing. Lets not forget that in the last couple of months the manager has embarked on some kind of experiment to make us harder to beat, forgetting that we have a shite keeper and defence and more importantly neglecting the fact that in McDonald, Moult, Ainsworth and Cadden we have some of the best attacking weapons in the league. I do wonder if the set ups he has been employing of late, rather than telling them to go out and win the game have contributed to the apathy of the team. It must be quite galling to be an attacker in that team at the moment. Aside from the last few months, he has actually done a good turn for us. He took control of Barracloughs failing team and turned them into a top 6 unit. He’s got a sale for Marvin, started to introduce the youngsters and with Moult and Cadden we have sellable assets. He’s also kept us (until recently) in a reasonably comfortable position in the league. Until Saturday I was still on his side, but the way the first half unfolded, with Dundee basically camped in our half for 20 minutes and our players not knowing what they were doing started to change the tide for me. On the positive, the new man will have time to turn things around. We are not yet in the relegation positions and we are only a stones throw from top 6. Making the change now gives us the chance to get things sorted and potentially not even worry about a relegation fight. Leaving it longer and the writing was on the wall I’m afraid.

    Boycott ?

    Boycott, fucksake get a grip
  5. Moult clearly loves scoring goals. If you are suddenly playing in a team who sets out to be defensive week after week then its going to get you down after a while. Once we get our Celtic tanking out the way hopefully McGhee can open up a bit and use our attacking resources.....
  6. What is Fletchers problem? He was a diddy and the fact he's managed 1 goal in the Welsh Premier League backs this up. Reading his twitter he seems to think he's billy big time. Sour faced walloper!
  7. Well if he reads them again hopefully he reads this. Lionel can be a great player, but only as a right winger. Anywhere else on the park is a total waste of a jersey.
  8. Its part of his remit now to talk up our players and sell them on. Moult will be away in the summer so we need to raise his profile as much as we can and try and maximise his value
  9. Got to agree/hope your right. I think a bid of £750k earlier in the month and he would have been away. At this stage in the night leaving us with a want away skippy, bowman plus maybe cifty? Nah. Other question, why would Rangers wait until tonight??
  10. I’m not advocating for Ojamma, we have got two better strikers than him at the moment, however, if McDonald fucks off tonight after the game then we are going to need a foil for our star man. As good as Moult is, he’s not a 1 striker option. Ojamma could be that foil. He can also play a role in linking midfield and attack which is something that we really don’t have at the moment. Anyway, if we can keep Moult and McDonald then there’s no requirement for the sheriff.
  11. Looking at the balance of our squad and the fact we havent managed a really secure gap from the bottom, i would much rather we keep Moult till the summer (unless a crazy bid comes in). The guy is fast turning into a Motherwell legend. It will be a sore one when he goes.
  12. I'd like to think that every one of those players is absolutely gutted at the result on Saturday. Hopefully every one of them recognised/realised that Rangers were not actually that good. Hopefully every one of them is going to come flying out the traps on Saturday determined to really stick it to them...... Hopefully McGhee send the team out to spank them, rather than sit back.
  13. It is quite worrying to hear a senior player may be throwing his toys out the pram. That can breed unrest and really, its something we can do without in the next few months. As for the game, still gutted. More so because we gifted them the winner. I wasnt too impressed by our set up in the first half and leaving 2 of our 3 goal threats on the bench but it nearly worked out. Moults header was perfect and unstoppable where he put it. I wasnt in the least bit impressed with Rangers yesterday, hopefully neither was the manager or the players. Would really like to see us take the game to them on Saturday at Fir Park. Yes, we will leave ourselves open but i fancy we could take a good few off them if we go at them.
  14. Unlucky, last time i was there we battered them 3-1 and had a great party.
  15. Just rock up to the ground on match day. There will be plenty Rangers fans holding tickets in the air ready to punt them on. You'll have to sit in with them mind. You might even enjoy that......
  16. And our man has been ripping it up in the champions league as well!
  17. Or we give him a wee bump up and a contract extension under the understanding that both parties agree to go their separate ways when a suitable offer eventually comes in.....
  18. I've lived in hamiltom now for the last 7 years and more often than not when i go by on the train about 6pm (ish), the parks in use. No idea who by, but it is certainly well used. Certainly doubt the first team train in the evenings.
  19. Sitting with a pint, i fair enjoyed that last paragraph.
  20. Got to agree. As much as Lionel gets a rough time from our fans, his product and return dwarfs what Humphrey brought to the table. IMO

    Mascots

Our resident taxi driver will no doubt be able to help us with that one
  22. Hasn't he signed an extension recently? If Rangers or anyone want him then they will have to pay up.
  23. Great game but gutted with the way it finished. We were excellent in first half and Celtic didnt really threaten us. That first Moult goal was beautiful. 2nd half a different story, they changed their formation and we seemed content to sit back and let them pick us apart. Thats a right kick in the baws. Only silver lining for me was sticking £2on Moult scoring 2 or more goals at 55/1!
