  1. Theres a big squad of wrexham fans in vilamoura today. Think theyv got a friendly on the go. Got talking to them, they are desperate for Moulty to be sold on, say they are on a good sell on fee
  2. Wanting to move and wanting to move to Aberdeen are not necesarily the same thing
  3. I know its a tongue in cheek suggestion and the logistics of it would probably be difficult, let alone all of the politics that would come into play, but didn't Boyle top up Hughes and Porters wages personally? We are now fan owned.............

I have no idea whether or not we could copyright it, but what would give Motherwell FC the rights to it anyway even if it were possible? Surely any rights, financial benefits and privileges would belong to the bois, or whatever they call themselves these days.
  5. If your using twitter for selfies, beer shots and breakfast, then your doing it wrong! I could ditch scudbook in a minute. Twitter, for me however is a valuable source of info (if you follow the right sites and not wallopers who post selfies!)
  6. Leaving the celtic thing aside, he does come across as a wee fanny on twitter. Nobody is perfect, the lad has talent. Hopefully he can step up this season.
  7. And if we hadn't started playing half decent in the last few games, Moult, Skippy and McHugh would all have been part of a relegated team too.
  8. Not if its Robinson who appoints him
  9. The experts on Clyde1 also said Rangers were going to sweep Motherwell aside both home& away during the playoffs.....
  10. Appearances, assists and goals bonuses in a contract for Lionel might just do what we need and inspire him to play to his abilities
  11. Im a little concerned by the keeper still in talks about an extension. Can't say he's done anything wrong but the fact it has taken until 3 games from the end of the season for him to get infront of Samson is a worry.

    Moult.

I doubt he knows but if a decent offer comes in then I doubt he will turn it down. He's 25 and probably making less than £2k per week. A championship club will at least treble his wages (possibly/probably more), no brainer. If he does well in his next gig he can get a bigger move and better contract when he's 27, right in his prime. Its going to hurt when he goes, he's built a great relationship with the 'well fans, but really, if theres one guy who deserves a pay day after his service to us in recent times, it's Moult. Would be good if we got a big chunky fee for him though.
  13. A sore heid this morning CMWellfan??
  14. I suppose business is business and if we didn't have the money then we can't offer him it. For me its a no brainer. The chances are that even if we offer him and accept a new deal right now on enhanced wages then someone will still come in and buy him, but at least we can demand more. Also, all this stuff about accepting less than £500k. Only the club or those inside will no what financial position we are in. For me, Moults value is whatever the difference to the club in of being in the premier league or the championship. If we get an offer less than that value, I'd be inclined to keep him and lose him in a year for nothing. I would like to think that if the rumours are correct that we have told all the out of contract guys they are moving on, we can at least put an offer to Moult. He might have already had his ear bent but we should at least try. Lets face it, with Lasley looking likely to go, we all need someone to focus our man love on!
  15. Desire from him or from the club to extend?
  16. A Skippy move to the Rangers would be interesting for the comedy of watching both Celtic and Rangers fans wrestle with the implications of it.

    Lasley.

If thats true then we can dispel the notion that Robinson was the cheap option. Pretty sure Lasley would have been cheaper and we would have got the two for one player/manager savings.
  18. Its the same in any walk of life. Just because a few people shout loud, doesn't mean they represent the majority opinion.
  19. Im a big lionel fan, but you just can't keep the guy unless him and the manager understand each other and the manager plays him in the right position more often than not. What we have got out of him this season is not good enough. If him and Robinson get their acts together i wouldnt mind seeing him stay, but its a total waste of wages keeping him to play him in set ups and positions that he can't work in.
  20. That for me, gets to the crux of what we demand for Moult. Whats the difference to the club in terms of cash between Premier league and Championship? Whatever that figure is, thats the value of Moult. Without him, (or a decent replacement) we go down. Fuck accepting £200k for him because we are scared he leaves for nothing. Staying up, is worth more than £200k to us. Given the lack of quality across the rest of the squad, we need good money in to rebuild, or we keep him for a year.
  21. I must have a screw loose but i watched those extended Alba highlights. I hadnt appreciated at the game itself quite how poor we were. We really have regressed this season. Head tennis, long balls, panic stations. No spark, no creativity.... Next year really does require a massive rebuild. If we carry on the way we are going but lose Moult then we are well and truely fucked!
