  1. Barracloughs planning on winning the league remember
  2. Without getting ahead of ourselves, would be funny if Barra put together a team who could put in the best challenge to Celtic and left Aberdeen in our wake....... Again
  3. No email for me and i bought the season ticket 3weeks ago. Paid in full.
  4. Punted by Dundee was he? Christ
  5. When Ainsworth is on, he is one of the biggest weapons anywhere in this league. Barraclough just needs to work out how to get consistency out of him. If we can get him, it will be a major plus IMO.
  6. And our form against Rangers was shite until the playoffs.
  7. A few years back Sweden had an away top with a "diagonal stripe/sash" on it and it was a belter of a strip IMO
  8. Not sure if he ripped anyones defence apart last season??
  9. Aside from the fact that he's close to done and was punted by St Johnstone, I can't see him fitting into Barracloughs style of play. Its obvious the manager wants to play the pressing game and utilise pace to break teams. As much as I love Faddy, I'm not sure he's what we need.
  10. Barraclough said last week that Skippy loved it here but had plenty options. He then said if theres a chance of getting him back we will pursue it.
  11. A bit disappointed to be honest, not that we are losing someone who has been superb, but that we are losing someone who has shown real development in the last 6 months. Compare his end of season performances with those when he first started getting regular first team games and you can see the progress the lad has made. I reckon another 6 months to a year playing for us would see his worth increase dramatically. Regardless, he helped us stay up so all the best Lee.
  12. Still love my canterbury away pin stripe number from a few years back
  13. I noticed yesterday that the Accies pitch is currently being dug up. It's only a year old, maybe these things only have a short shelf life.
  14. Loves it or not, i imagine in Aberdeen come in and offer him and extra grand or two a week, he'll be offski
  15. As much as Lionel is a frustrating pain in the arse at times during the season, I'll be quite gutted if he goes. When he's 'on', the rest of the league find him unplayable.
  16. I think you get them whenever they are sent out.
  17. As much as 'its a disgrace' and all that..... I thought it was brilliant that wee Lionel just breenged in and lamped him!
  18. Aye but mind, Higdon was shite too.......
  19. Hopefully the Baraclough - Moore relationship is salvagable. The fact he got playoff time suggests the manager hasn't written him off
  20. Got to agree, keeping Lionel would be a good thing. After a few sessions on the bench, he and Barraclough seem to understand each other well. Hopefully they have a decent relationship and he would be happy to stay.
  21. Bricking it! Getting relegated by this mob after being 3-0 up does not bear thinking about! Fortunatly, they are not very good. Right in about them, dont invite them onto us, bang in a couple of goals and its party time
  22. I switched between Clyde and Scotland a few times. Leaving aside the callers, the majority of wholm have mental issues, the pundits have still got their heads in the sand. Ok at least it had changed a little in that Rangers are not 100% winning this, but it was all about 'if rangers get this first goal.......' Jesus christ guys, yes we know, we know the job is only half done but can you not give us some respect? What if we somehow manage to nick that first goal???????
  23. My productivity has dropped off now. Ready to stick my jeans on and head for a few jars before making my way to the ground. "In aboot them Motherwell!!"
  24. I’ve been getting more and more wound up about this all week, mainly due to the media siding with their favourites on the ticket issue and the imbecilic positions on RM, rather than the match itself. Woke up this morning, still quite relaxed but as the hours tick past at work I’ve got to admit the butterflies are happening and the arse is twitching like a rabbits nose. I had sort of made peace with myself about relegation if we get beat, but I hope so much that we go toe to toe with this mob and leave nothing on that field. I can handle us getting beat 2-1, 1-0 or whatever if we are giving it all and getting stuck in and attacking them. What I won’t be able to handle is the capitulation scenes I have witnessed at Ibrox so many times before shipping 4,5,6,7 goals! It’s going to be poisonous tonight, but it will be so sweet to get it stuck right up 50,000 expectant Rangers fans. Office isn’t too bad today, 9 football men here. 4 Rangers fans, a Hibs fan, a Killy fan, two Celtic fans and me. Let’s just say the majority of my football supporting office are supporting the ‘well tonight!
