Im hopeful we wont need to worry about playoffs but given how tight the league is & there is only 1 team cut off, & some teams with deeper pockets are below us. I do think the usual points totals are going to be off this season. Ideally get to 40 as soon as possible and take it from there.....

I wouldnt want rid of him, hes a young manager and he's doing fine. Is he setting the heather alight? No, but if he was he wouldnt last long. It would however be good to see him learn from mistakes and note just how poor & toothless we are when he sets us up defensivley

Took a while to get going but we were pretty good first half. Should have scored a couple before we did. Casey i think missed a sitter of a header & someone took the ball out of hallidays feet before he was about to smash it from 8 yards. 2 great finishes & fat tony did what he does by niggling & goading that red card. Superb stuff. The rest of the first half we passed it about in complete control. Fuck knows what happened 2nd half. The ball was a hot potato that our guys just panicked anytime they touched it. We really missed Miller not being able to take the sting out it & play a few passes. Aberdeen looked the team with 11 men. Three points, clean sheet, great stuff but by god we made hard work of that 2nd half

Take the game to Rangers and look good..... come up against a misfiring Hearts team & play the sitting back tactics which served us well against Hibs, County & semi final. Said it before, our problem is kettlewell doesnt learn from mistakes

Given we have turned up in quite a few games recently with zero intention of putting the opposition under pressure (Ross County, Hibs & semi final spring to mind) then absolutley nobody should be surprised when we try something similar away at celtic. Kettlewell has done a decent job. We are doing fine. But...... he is learning nothing from his mistakes

When the £8mill story broke i was 'pleasantly surprised'. To be fair wasnt sure how justifiable it was. Iv sat down the last few matches to try & watch him objectivley. Hes only 18, has a cracking football brain, set pieces already on point & he is a big laddie. He will be a monster in a few years. The big stand out for me however is if you watch him, the amount of his passes that hit the target are head & shoulders above the rest of the team. If Mika Biereth were in this team this season, the damage we could do with them both being on a similar wavelength would have been fun to watch

Not going to waste time on the red card. Everyone & their dug knows it was wrong, including the VAR operators who gave the ref a golden get out by sending him to the tv. Aside from that, it was a brutal game. Maybe some of it was down to the stop start nature as Kettlewell said but the reality is we didnt actually look to have a real go until we were down to 10men. Honking football, at least it was a friday & could wash it away with pints. Positive - another point gained. But thats all.

Probably agree if £8mill was the top of the teams budget. Not sure they bother that much if they are used to splashing £50m + on individual players. £8mill will barely touch the sides if a team of Liverpools stature are actually interested

I think he said something along the lines of the veterans playing dress up. If that was the case, then its pretty clear lack of understanding/respect. As opposed to his usual blame Burrows, Kettlewell, the new guy, the tea lady etc etc.

Missed today but not a shock seeing the line up. Last 3 games - Rangers, County & Hibs we have been up against sides low on confidence & shipping goals. All three games we set up to keep it tight instead of actually having a go. Mental. Lessons learned - apparantly not! Get 2 men up front, plus Mawahinse (spelling forgive me) on the wing. That will give us options and threats. Give Miller support. Get wilson back to LB!

And while i agree to an extent, he hasnt shown that form since he left us. By all accounts he caused dressing room strife & went backwards at Tannadice then turns up here like Jabba the hut. While i wasnt too keen on the way he left us, i would happilly overlook that if a player actually turned up here & put a shift in. Seeing none of that so for me, its a cheerio.....

If Watt was the Watt we had a few years ago then i would agree, however Fat Tony has turned up and shown the square root of heehaw when hes been on. Bye bye...... Vale did enough for me last season to suggest 'when played in the correct position' he offers a good option. If he is nearing fitness i would keep him. If hes still some way away, then send him back.

Im old enough to know that we shouldnt count any chickens but if you look at the other fixtures that day, a win for us would be very handy! Rangers will likely beat Dundee Utd St M v Aberdeen - someone/both is dropping points Hibs are playing away & Hearts are getting cuffed off Celtic so chances there to put more daylight between us & the danger zones
