  1. He was shocking in the first half when he played left wing. Not even a little bit bad, complete shite, looked like he had no idea what he was doing. Certainly improved when pulled back in defence, but for me Thomas has to play left wing.
  2. Reads as though Ojamaa didn't want to go. Bit of a shame to lose him.
  3. A few positives: - we won't get humped - Baraclough gets extra time to kick this malaise out the squad - we might have new players in by the time we play kily - playing today after the rain and snow of last week would fuck the park. Now it gers a rest
  4. A quick search on linkdIn brings her up with the eight positions she has held. Come on man, you can surely manage that yourself.
  5. So now you know that your first point, McCalls team was 'Craigs' is nonsense. Did the guy at your work tell you that McCalls Motherwell beat Celtic twice in a 6week spell a couple of years ago?
  6. Three straight defeats, 11goals against, scored 1! Manager needs time, but he also needs to do much better
  7. It would be interesting to compare these clubs home and away form against the rest of the league. I've been at both accies away games sadly, and it was clear to me the ball was reacting totally different to on grass. Not only the ball, but the players were reacting, turning, stopping different from what you see on grass. The home team are playing and training on this so it stands to reason that they should have some kind of advantage.
  8. For me, i'de have Erwin and Ojamaa up top, lionel and thomas on the wings. That would give us four direct players which while it might not win us the game, would certainly cause Aberdeen problems. For all that Erwins been poor in front of goal, he has been getting into the right positions and putting himself about. Those four attacking players would allow us to go with two solid centre mids which could help protect whatever back four we can coble together.
  9. I personally thought it was quite cringeworthy when the 'heavy hands empty stands' song went up after our support let off two smokebombs. IMO
  10. If they were out on the piss and turned up anything other than 100% then as far as I'm concerned they should get at least a 2week fine and made to show they care about the club before they get a sniff of first team action again. I really hope this is just online rumour and not fact. I will be royally pissed off if I paid for and sat through a 5-0 humping because of unproffesional behaviour.
  11. We were brutal yesterday but lets not get carried away with the BBC Aberdeen hype machine. We finished the season better than them last season despite them being the 2nd coming of the 'Gothenberg Greats'. They also only managed a 1-0 over us a couple of months back at their own shit hole, and even that was due to McManus slipping. Yes, they are better than us, but if we turn up we can give them a game
  12. People here complaining about the stewarding? What did the stewards do wrong? I had to interact with them twice and both occassions they were bang on. Two smokebombs produced by our fans suggests that it is us in the wrong
  13. What a shambles that was. I had felt most of the season that while we have not been good, we have also been unlucky. Slips leading to goals against, no breaks etc. Indeed the first half against Ross County was our worst performance of the season...... Until yesterday! Fuck me, an absolute clusterfuck. No drive, no hunger, inept marking. We were quite simply played off the park by Accies. I thought in the first half Ojamaa looked like he was at least trying to create and make things happen from his left wing outpost, but in the second half he completley dissapeared along with the rest of the team. Thomas put in a good ball when he came on, and the other youngster Cadden?? at least put himself about and tried to get in positions. If Barraclough started with softly softly approaches the first few weeks, well he needs to ditch that and kick arses now! That was fucking brutal!
  14. Granted not a league game, but it looked pretty full to me in the midweek cup game a month or so ago
  15. And yet everything we created came through him
  16. Ojamaa, everything we did went through him. He worked his socks off an was all over the park.
  17. Spot on, Ojamaa is our best player and the creative heart of the team at the moment. We really need to keep him past January
  18. I don't know anything about it but lets not forget, there was a full 6weeks between McCall leaving and the new manager taking up post. Plenty of time to consider whatever he wanted.
  19. A bit brutal to watch but the win is the most important thing and we'll gladly take it. Obviously we got the breaks yesterday with the card and on the line decision but we really are due something. Even one game in we can see the new managers changes in philosophy. A much more possesion based game and passing the ball out from the back, not pretty yesterday but hopefully that will come as the players get use to it. Nice to see a different approach as well. Other positives for me was giving youth a chance (ferguson, erwin and thomas) all getting game time, and playing Ojamaa and Ainsworth at the same time. Unfortunatly neither were at their best and Lionel is far more comfortable on the right. A good start for the new man and a much needed win. Lets see if we can follow it up with 3points next week.....
  20. Yes and no, we'v got both Ojamaa and Ainsworth starting which hasn't really happened much this season. About time in my opinion, they are our two weapons, if they are on their game we might start looking dangerous
  21. I think it probably was the worst half time reception they have had since Malpass. I think it was probably the worst 45 minute performance we have put in since Malpas as well.
  22. We need to remember what he says isn't the same as what the papers headline. He didn't come out an say, "We are going to win the league" in a Football Manager game stylee. What he said was that winning the league should be an aim for the team......"why not?". I think that's a fair comment. Of course the chances of winning the league are very slim, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't be trying to do it.
  23. Didnt you ask someone how many goals and how many assists vigurs has as a way to justify why you think he's poor? Apparantly you dont rate Ainsworth either so best apply the same evaluation criteria. How many does Ainsworth have? Two assists from his 45minute spell yesterday alone i believe
  24. Big Stall

    Ross County

Ojamaa motm as far as I'm concerned.
  25. Not really, no. The bookies don't have a hotline to MFC. If they knew that someone else was getting the gig, then said someone else would have favourite odds. What they will be doing is responding to a tip, or responding to punters piling onto Van Der Gaag lastnight.
