Not exactly a great loss is it
-
Gunnar not even on the bench??
-
He would be someone who could actually follow ruddy and randolph. If he was fit and we could afford him it would be a great coup! Expect Aberdeen to be all over him though
-
Do Hibs fans not have their own drum? Whilst they are free to do what they want in their own ground, if they have banned ours, but allow their own one in, I would hope Motherwell FC as a club highlight this.
-
Im guessing there will be similar stats for us though......

I thought young leitch was good as well. Looked like he fancied a glory shot now and again as well which is something some of our established players are a bit scared to take on. Did notice leitch never passed to ZFA at all when he was the easy open man. Maybe he didnt notice him or he just knows zanes not the best. Regardless, great debut, looking forward to seeing more of the lad.

I think Ramsdens a great right back, be dissapointed if he doesnt slot straight back in. Imo

I think theres a bit of a difference here between being ‘happy clappy’, ‘realistic’ and a ‘panty wetting moron’. I’d probably be classed as happy clappy. Im quite happy that despite the budget cuts and player loses we are still sitting 3rd in the league and within touching distance of second. In fact while Aberdeen were clearly better than us in the first game of the season, they only snatched a draw with us last month due to inept goal keeping and a blatant handball. The last 2 months Aberdeen have had decision after decision go their way and a hat full of late goals. Are they better than us? Probably, but they are not lightyears ahead despite the bigger squad and wages available. Am I happy that the first three months of the season we played turgid football? Of course not. Am I happy that we have a disaster between the sticks? Not in the least. Am I happy that we are a bawhair off 2nd place and have essentially qualified for the top 6 despite the budget cuts and players out? Definitely. Could we be doing things better? Yes. Could we be doing things worse, yes, much worse. The thought processes displayed on here back in November wanting McCall out verged on hysterical, looks like we are going to be going back down that road. Give yourselves a shake!

One user name tonight or two?
-
Were you not one of the posters who thought it was time for McCall to 'get to fuck' a couple of months back as well??

I can follow the logic but by the same token you have been predicting us to get humped in the majority of games we have had since Utd, so forgive us for not taking you too seriously. Still, you'v got to get it right at some point. Sun shines on a dugs arse now and again.....

Its a strange one, maybe depends on how a player carries themselves with their new club and any respect or lack of they might show us. Ordinarily none of last seasons team should expect to get abuse, but you can imagine both Hateley and Law would get it for differing reasons. Indeed, Law as one of our better players last season will probably get it tight if he's still with Rangers when they come back up to the top division. Can't imagine we would boo many other outfield players from last season, (until they started banging the goals in against us) and then of course it would be open season Randolph might get exempted any special treatment.

We just won 4-3, are we really going to look for things to moan about?
-
I had no problem with him until his behaviour today. Aside from that, hats off, he played brilliantly. If he played with that passion and ability every week he'd be playing at a higher level
-
Yaaaaassss, never expected to celebrate a winner against thistle as much as that, all down to the behaviour of that wee reject! Just on the train, thistle fans singing SIWY, pissing myself!
-
Snowed lastnight up my way at top end of Hamilton and been pissin down all morning. Not sure if the twitter feed is being optimistic

You know, the Gunnar situation could actually be the making of Hollis. Hollis came into an impossible situation, standing between the sticks straight after Ruddy and Randolph. Add to that, the fact that 2/3s of the team infront of him were new recruits still to find some familiarity then he was always onto a thankless task. Now however he can come back in after injury, the fans might have a fresh perspective given Gunnars performances of late, the team seem to know each other better…… you never know, this could now be his chance to step up, not be judged against Randolph, and actually have a reasonable team infront of him. Or am I clutching at straws???

Probably nancy, taps aff apparantly, couldnt feel a thing!

Just read my survey email, got to say I am quite interested now. £10 per month actually suits me...... just need to ask the boss about the funds as there is now a mini steelman/steelgirl on the way! Now, do I phone them myself or wait to see if I get a call from Keith??

Its a good theme. I got married a couple of weeks after the cup final (3years ago). Had an agreement in place if we won, i could name the tables after the team. In the end i had to go with golf courses.
-
I agree and i enjoy, just dont think quality wise its all its cracked up to be
-
Its all hype though. Plenty empty seats in premiership and championship matches every week. Aside from the top section of the championship (leicester, QPR, Burnley etc) I dont think that league is really that good.
-
My take on it was the extension wasnt so we can keep him for another 3years, but to keep him happy until a suitable offer comes in from a club he would be happy to move to. Regardless, we cant afford to up his wages so its bye bye in the summer for hee haw

Listening to mccall on the radio a few weeks back, the fail regarding hutchie was getting pumped out the cups. Mccall said hutchie loves it here and he would have been confident getting a contract extension on him, but the cup results mean we cant afford it
-
He did with the first goal
