Totally agree Andy and if you think of Dundee United as an example, the season we all lost Rangers custom, they got a derby with Dundee to make up the short fall. This season, they have neither. Swings and roundabouts
-
Bangers aside, just saw the goal. Good work and finish by sutty. Not sure it was going in if the hearts boy hadn't have got a touch, but who cares. Mon the 'well!
-
Sounds painfull on the radio at the moment, need to get a grip back on this game!
-
Really good news. Well done to all concerned with the deal. Just a shame the directors cant top hutchys contract up. Saying that, they dont have bottomless pockets & we really can't start living outwith our means again.
-
Listened to that McCall interview. Great to hear that Hutchy loves it here, but a real kick in the baws when McCall says that if we had got through in the cups he would be confident of the big man signing a contract extension. Now we can't afford to offer him the type of salary that would have kept him around a bit longer, and certainly meant we could have sold him for a real price.
-
He's already told us. He rejected the contract extension a couple of months back I believe.
-
6 months. Im afraid he'll be in the same position as Murphy was and punted for £100k. Would be nice however if we kept him till the summer and gambled that not selling him for a paltry amount would be offset by prize money.
-
Im starting to get all MJC here, a lot of 'well fans predicting us dishing out a tanking is a worry, and every winning run has to end sometime.
-
I agree we would be weaker without him, all im saying is that in my opinion he's not integral to our way of play. A decent striker yes and certainly worth keeping if we can, but he's not a gem like his pal last season however. IMO!
-
You know, as much as Anier has scored some valuable goals so far this season, I can't say I will be overly worried if we can't keep him. Decent player yes, but nothing we can't do without. Especially now that Moore and Faddy have shown that they are both capable of playing upfront with Sutton. Thats not to say I don't want him to stay, just it won't be the end of the world if he leaves. * * Unless he turns up at Aberdeen and fires them to second place!

Never followed the original thread but piecing things together it would seem.... - Frazzie shouts abuse at a game at a 'well player who happens to be Mr Hateley - Tams bird is sitting close by, decides to stand up for her man and tell frazzie to wind his neck in - Frazie doesnt like this so proceeds to have an argument with her - She later tells Hateley who asks Frazzie to meet him outside the gates after school Is that about the size of it or have i picked it up wrong?
-
Fair enough although you follow his burd?? Regardless, i always thought Tam was a decent 'well player. Obviously badly advised if he thought he had better options which never transpired. I dont have any problems with him leaving, they all did, and at no point did he bad mouth us. I could see him getting an SPFL return, expect most teams outwith us, celtic, sheep and Dundee United would happily take him. I wish him all the best
-
According to the 'expert journo's' on the radio, the spfl clubs have an agreement they pay for the damage their own supporters do, and the host club doesnt raise an issue.
-
Not that im doubting frazzie, i dont know the guy, but is there a link or evidence as to the claims in his original post? This is the first i've heard of the injury cover up
-
Surely we fix them when Celtic stump up the cash
-
^ well if you follow the mjc and henry/postiejim philosophy we could lose the next 12 games, get involved in a relegation dog fight, then there will be something left to play for in the season. Maybe then the fans will come back?
-
We cany win a cup = season over!! Why do you guys support Motherwell again? We all want to see the team lift silverware but if winning a cup (or not) is the be all and end all of your season then toddle off to Glasgow, you get a choice and guaranteed silverware
-
Mccall just did a live interview on SSN, spoke very well, very encouraged to see the players playing with a smile on their face and entertaining the fans. Reckons if we finish above Aberdeen we will get a euro spot.
-
Ainsworth for me but they were all good. Vigours cross for the 1st goal was top class
-
Glass half empty?? Im looking at it excited by the performances in the last 3games. Its no secret we were dire to watch in the first few months of the season (despite picking up points). Now it would appear we are clicking and starting to play the right way. If the team entertain us as they did yesterday for the rest of the season, i certainly wont be complaining.
-
Cant beat a good bit of 1-0 rompin
-
Lets not get on MJC's back, if he keeps making wrong predictions that in the great world of butterfly wing flapping karma leads to 'well victories, I'll be happy
-
Cant afford to take this one for granted. With utd & aberdeen playing each other, at least 1will be dropping points (hopefully both). A belting 'well win would go down a treat, particularly with ICT up on the 4th.
-
0-1 'well, Moore coming off the bench and scoring the winner. (Now putting the phone down & sneaking back for my christmas dinner)
-
And despite not hitting the heights, he's probably only an injury to Lasley or Carswell away from being a starter.
