  1. Last year when we had the possibility of Brugge, would have been tremendous. Easy to get to, safe, better club than us but not liable to get horsed off them I know it would be mission impossible but I'de love to see reactions both downsouth and the media and other detractors in Scotland were we to spank an EPL team! Sadly we'd need this current team to stick together and have two games of their lifes
  2. Jim was good at winning penalties, Ojamma is the top assist player in the league and runs through a brick wall for us. Ojamma everyday of the week. JOB has pish patter on twitter.
  3. They haven't yet announced the new 41-1 voting rules......
  4. Bouncers, although by the sound of it they had a good go at him too
  5. Right, my mate was talking to him at the golf day at Carluke and just phoned me. Higgy got in bother with the bouncers outside, bit of a sore face on him supposedly. He had to leave the golf event early as his wife phoned him to say reporters are camped outside his house. Of course he could be winding me up, but i'de expect a more imaginative story if that was the case.
  6. Don't doubt you, but can you actually get a night in the cells for the above? No blows traded etc.
  7. Not some fans, just you.
  8. Trying to pace myself. Is there such a thing as a tantric tommy tank?
  9. Despite the doom and gloom of budget cuts, im surprised no one has picked up on the encouraging news. McCall thinks we can keep some of the out of contract players including Faddy! Superb, I might have to have a quiet 5mins to myself now......
  10. Rumours I know, but my work colleague has a mate who works in Birmingham City Press Dept and says Randolph is pretty close to being signed, sealed and delivered. Mate of a mate I know but probably more accurate than Dazzers pish
  11. Im sure I read on here that at one of the 'well society meetings the fans were told the wage bill was cut to £28k per week for the current season. If true then thats £1.4m per year. Still needs a good war chest however to top it up right enough. Also, my point was not that JB or a lottery winner would fund the whole wage bill, just the excess required ontop of our budget to keep the team. Dreaming I know.......
  12. Completley agree with that. I certainly wouldn't pick him however if as the thread title says, you could have one player stay definatley
  13. I reckon if the rest were to stay, then there is noway Hateley would walk out the door. He would know we have a right good team and a chance of making something happen next season. Much better opportunity than knocking about in the lower divisions with Rangers.
  14. Since the turn of the year, this team has been truly flying. We have been full of creativity, confidence and goals. I didn't think it would be possible, but I believe the last few months have been better than the 6 week showing (November – December) in McGhee's first season. McCall really needs some credit as well. He has built a team that from middle to front is packed full of entertainment, pace and creativity. Importantly, it looks as though McCall has finally cast aside his old 'lets not get beat when playing a better team' mantra, and recognises the potential this team has. Just sends them out to go about their business. How much I would love to see us get another shot at Rangers and maybe even Panathinikos right now! As with everyone else, I'm pretty gutted that we have managed to build this team and now we will see it broken up. Fingers crossed everyone we either get a 'well fan winning the lottery or John Boyle still watches the games and wouldn't mind gifting another couple of hundred grand to cover keeping the team for another season. Lets face it, our form in 2013 has been championship winning form. If we kept that team together could we win the SPL next season? Possibly, but I'm pretty sure we could have a real good tilt at Celtic!
  15. I'de love it happen but sadly I think the only chance of that is if a 'well fan wins the Euromillions and is able to provide a fund. Noway will or should the club be breaking the wage structure, regardless of how tempting it will be to do so. We have been down that road before........
  16. Im pretty sure I heard McCall say he has told them all they have plenty of time, but there is a deadline for their contract offer to allow us to build next seasons squad.
  17. Either Randolph or Faddy. Both are much better than our level and both will probably be off. Our team was slammed full of creative players but Faddy has just added that magic to make it happen. Our defence has been pretty shoddy this season but Randolph has been outstanding. I reckon theres still a decent chance at keeping Higgy, and we can get by with a central midfield of Carswell and Lasley.
  18. McCall said on the radio yesterday, when he first came to Fir Park he thought Sauders had some good right back attributes about him, but Saunders wants to play centre back. Maybe Saunders made it clear he won't be sticking around if he doesn't get to play CB.
  19. Debated long and hard what text to send my celtic supporting mates, went for... "Pumped by the 'well twice in 6weeks, what a goal by king henric. Hail Hail!" Seemed to get the message across. Get it right up yi lennon!
  20. Forget the kit, Lasleys boots are belters!
  21. Server doesn't seem to handle the thousands of hits Motherwell fans are currently putting on it. If anyone gets in, any chance of putting the picture in the thread??
  22. I've said it before but I'll say it again. The Canterburry away top seemed to be one of the most popular strips we have had in a long time. Why not use a similar style now and again. Obviously better quality material would be good.
  23. Dont see Hooper on that list. Someone should tell Lennon its abysmal!
