Wow.... an actual enjoyable performance to watch. Dare i say it, possibly our best showing at home in a good couple of years! The new winger is a real danger man & adds a much needed outball & threat to us. We should try & lock him in now & while we are at it, ask Leicester if they have another one for the other side of the pitch. The first hour we were in so much control, only Gordon keeping them in it. I did think the introduction of Fat Tony changed it a bit. Hes not fit enough to keep the press up that we had, need to see it again but my feeling was his labouring led to the Hearts goal. We then wobbled but credit to the lads for not caving. Sparrow got that goal from sheer will chasing & pressing the ball down. Great result, great performance. Mon the 'well!

What happened at drum gate? I saw the quite big group of lads not getting into club 100 after the thistle game. When not allowed in they threw a volley of abuse at the doormen & told them they wont be back. Reading the last page or so would suggest they havent stuck with their proclamation that day

No idea what went on in the steelworks. When i went past Club 100 after the game the young team dressed in black were getting refused entry. A few of them throwing abuse at the doorman. Maybe linked, maybe not.

All this signifys to me is we are simply a body down in midfield. Anyone thinking paton is the answer to making our midfield tick or linking midfield & attack has been out in the Scottish sun too long. If we cant find another player who can as a minimum provide what paton can do then we are in bother.

Feared the worst seeing the comments before i saw it. I dont think its that bad. Certainly dont love it but dont think its horrific. We have had worse. * reserve full judgement till i see it in tje flesh What is horrific is the shitey strobe video for it that popped up on the clubs social feeds. The defence has been a shambles and clearly at fault game in, game out. But, and this is the thing. Kelly has also managed to throw a fair few into his own net this season. Maybe partly feart or affected by the shitshow infront of him, but there is no way he can be absolved of blame this season. He really has been a shaddow of the keeper we had in his first year.

Kelly is definatley saddled with rubbish infront of him no arguament there. He has however thrown a barrow load into his own net this season. By the standards he set in his first two seasons he has been very poor this year.

Kelly appears to be (statisticly) the worst keeper in the league this season. Granted, some of that is down to the shite infront of him. No chance he is the lowest paid keeper in the league however. There certainly is merit in seeing what is out there that could freshen us up.

While i dont think he was ever going to hit last seasons heights, i think he would do much better here or St Mirren than at Kilmarnock. Simply down to fitness & competition for places in the starting 11. Kilmarnock have a wealth of talent & big kev has to force his way in. If he signed for us he wouldnt have that issue & could play his way to fitness & form. Probably similar in Paisley as well. He does not have that luxury at Rugby Park this season.

Why not? We are by all accounts the third lowest wage budget in the country & Bair was never brought in as an assumed starting 11 man but rather a squad player to work on. And he is young. He will have done well in terms of bonuses but i wouldnt be surprised if he is one of our lower earners (in terms of basic) Saying that, i have no idea what a lower earner at MFC will be on.

Take the point but that was a horrific shambles today. St Mirrens goal was on us. Halliday was brutal, and neither spittal or vale turned up. The passing all round was shocking. My lad is only 6& him and his mill utd team mates are putting better balls to feet than what i witnessed today. St Mirren, despite their lofty position were no better than us. Infact, i dare say if we had put some passes together we would walk through them quite easily. They are a strong workman like side but cant cope with crisp passing & a bit of guile. Gent - standout performer!
