Given that the Rangers first team got beat at home in the bottom division at the weekend, what would a colt team bring to the party??
-
Does the BBC not do live coverage online of all SPL games anymore?
-
Apparantly Broon has been in the local press this morning telling them its not a failure if they dont get top 6! Has he lost his marbles or clutching at straws to keep his job??

Mark Hateley was peddling this pish back before Christmas. Lazy journalism is bad enough but for a collumist to rehash his work.... To be fair to Hateley, hes bang on the money. We have better players, they are cheap& available. Any manager worth his salt at any club would be daft not to be looking at our boys. Saying that, Hateley forgets that our out of contract stars are all young and ambitious, not washed up players like Black, Shiels& Sandazza who had reached the pinnacle of their careers. Our boys can and should move on to bigger& better things, not Scottish division 2 or 3 whatever it will be. Hateley - Dae wan!

Im not angry at Motherwell or anyone else who happens to finish 2nd losing the 2nd place war chest, its what we wanted overall. Im angry that the redistribution of incomes has been done without touching the top team. Looking down 2nd-12th, the SPL have so nearly got it correct. The formula position of equal blocks of prize money moving down dependant upon final league position is sound. Its what happens in the EPL. The problem is that 1st place is not considered and not part of the formula. If they want redistribution then redistribute the prize money, its not rocket science!

One game at a time, 3points on saturday, prefferably with a morale boosting 4-0 thumping of the sheep, then take it from there

Got to agree, need to keep winning as many as possible so that by the time we actually get to the split, every other team has an uphill battle if they want to have a chance of catching us in 2nd.
-
Are you still here? Faddy signed more than a week ago. You should be jumping off the Erskine Bridge with the Celtic fans about now!
-
Have the Motherwell fans not won every convert for cash challenge this season? No pressure on you mate......

I should say, I back the general 9pm ban across the network. Im not however convinced about targetting 'football services'

Im someone who enjoys a bevy& sneaky few beers on the train as much as the next person. But as someone who has regularly got the last train home on Friday nights for 10+ years, i can tell you theres nothing worse than seeing boozed up arseholes causing bother. Ive lost count of the number of pricks i've saw assault members of the public on those trains or cause enough bother the driver stops the train until the police arrive further holding up everyone else. The booze ban isnt there to stop you getting on the train after a good session, its there to stop the arseholes who take it too far. I 100% support it, as long as they only police it in a 'sensible' manner the way they have advertised. Ide also like to think the scotrail staff would look the other way at a 'sneaky wee carryout' as long as no-ones causing bother

Did that all happen before or after the smoke bomb? If it was before then theres a good case to be made against them. If it was after, then its pretty easy to see why they did it.

You know McCalls plans based on 17 minutes of game time? Your football knowledge and analysis skills really are wasted on the internet.
-
And the guy who votes for the right winger doesn't even go to the games!

He never said what age his son was.

I agree with that 100% mate. Wasn't that bothered on Saturday morning, half due to a hangover and half little interest. Saying that, Saturdays performance really excited me. The fact we were playing with so many flair players who were going all over the park really was a joy to watch. Ojamma, Law, Higgenbotham, Humphrey, and then we had ZFA and Boab on the bench and of course the fat useless goal machine upfront who does heehaw except score goals. I want to see more of the same. And now we know Faddy won't be playing tomorrow, then for once I agree with Dazzer. Same team as Saturday.

Faddy in, humphrey out. Bring it on.

No mate, they tried to have a vote but it didn't get through. All the teams, including our own are greedy bastards and want a couple of shots at the 2nd place jack pot. The rules won't get changed until Rangers are due to come back in.

A really good professional performance, attack minded, expansive, playing football the right way. Really impressed with Higgenbotham, I liked that he can take a man on, has craft, he doesn't just hug his touchline but moved with the play popping up on the right, left and through the centre. Right now we really are blessed with an array of attack minded players. I can't remember the last time we had so many options - Higgy, Ojamma, Law, Higgenbotham, Humphrey, Boab, ZFA. McCall has some crazy detractors in our support, but even they have to credit him for building an exciting attacking team. If we were to add Faddy to that line up.......... Nicky Law was top class yesterday, shame his rifled shot hit the bar, would have been the icing on the cake. Thought Carswell looked out his depth in the first 15 minutes with a good few mistakes, but credit to the lad, he settled into the game and really played his part. Hateley has taken a pounding this season as his form had slipped, I thought he put a great performance in yesterday. Really hope we can keep energy and performance levels up for Tuesday night. Massive game and taking 3 points would really open up some daylight. Particularly since we have to play Celtic soon.
-
Nicky Law for me but they were all good. Special mention for Hateley, he has rightly taken pelters this season but he had a cracking game yesterday

& while you are both correct, Thatcher has had nothing to do with the PPI schools which have went up over the last 7 years, building the new school on the old schools playing fields and then knocking the old school down. Some get improved sports facilities but sometimes these are kept under lock and key and you pay a kings ransome to use them after hours.

It felt like hurricane Katrina up at the top end of Hamilton lastnight, and tonight is predicted to be stronger winds. Rains been pishin down all day in Glasgow. I'll be at the match but to be honest, won't be too dissapointed if its off. Also got to consider the Dundee United fans. They would rightly be pissed off if the games a bogey but the pitch inspection wasn't until an hour before the match.

As usual you are letting your blind hatred for the current custodians run away with you. Back in the summer it was obvious the club didnt want to vote Rangers out, yet the 'well society told them which way to go. I have yet to see anything to suggest this situation will be any different.
-
Guess we can all wring our pants out now. http://www.motherwel...reconstruction/ No vote and just as stated in the 'well society letter, the club will be discussing with the 'well society. *Edit, Nethertonwellfan beat me to it.

Given what was written in the 'well society newsletter today/yesterday about todays vote, and also the comments in the last few days from St Mirren and Dundee United, Im inclined to think/hope there may be a degree of misreporting about what has actually went down today. A club statement would be nice, if the BBC, SSN etc are not reporting accurately.
