500/1 on Paddy Power. Highly unlikely but worth a throw away quid

Im not Humphry's biggest fan but I do appreciate what he can bring to the team. This is mental however, at a time when McCall says we need to strengthen and bring in more players, why are we considering letting one of our best weapons leave for comparitive peanuts. Im the first to admit that the Hump will only turn up for 1 game in 3, and even when he brings his boots he won't be at the races the full game. When he is on his game, and his team mates remember to play the ball into space infront of him, he is devastating. Not just in goal creation, but as a pressure release. How many times have we been under the cosh and hemmed in, Randy throws the ball to the Hump and within seconds we are in the opposition box? Even against St Midden, when he came on, the rest of our team got more space because the Midden doubled up on him. £200k, not for me. Of course, this could be a case of the board telling McCall that if he really wants to keep Hutch then we need to offload someone. * Or as others have pointed out, just pish in the papers!

Dundee United are worse off financially than we are. I fully understand that strikers go for more than defenders, but DUFC have learnt how to get maximum value for their players, Goidwillie& probably Russel going for big £! We really need to learn how to play the market
-
£600k for Hutchy? Can we not learn a thing from our current main rivals - Dundee United who have slapped a £2m price tag on Russel!
-
Why was he playing on Saturday? Was there a game of kirby outside his house?
-
So you really think that the stumbling block is not Faddy dropping £18k off his weekly wages, but the Captain Keith will be on £300 more than him per week??
-
The midden were all over us yesterday. Our team couldnt make those tactics work. Had we been playing a better opposition we would have shipped a good number of goals.
-
One other thing, when Hutch went off, Higgy appeared to go to CB for a minute or so. A good move I thought, then, low and behold he was sent back upfront. Whilst I wasn't happy about playing 75 mins just trying to hold on against the Midden, we should def have been getting everyone back to defend when we were down to 10 men with 4 minutes to go.

Kerr had a good game, Hetherington had a good few slack passes. He did however hit imrie with a crunching tackle in the first minute which is a good way to endear yourself to the fans
-
Some people on here are saying it was a decent performance? Must be watching different games! Ok, individual players may not have had howlers, but the formation and set up allowed St Mirren to boss the game for 75minutes! St Mirren for fucks sake!! We had no real width, no bite& to be fair, we couldnt get a foothold on the game. After 25minutes it was obvious having no right& left midfielders meant St Mirren could destroy us down the wings& create real havock, pretty much unchallenged. St Mirren are shite, a better team would have properly taken us apart today. I was impressed with Kerr, and Hutchy was solid as ever until the ref lost it. I actually thought the first yellow was for telling Thomson he was going to leather him. Cummins seemed steady, if Hetherington has another couple of performances like that he'l no doubt be on thee wrong end of the east stand Fitzpatrick treatment. Time to get back to 4-4-2 in my opinion.

I agree with MJC for once. We cant legislate for the linesmans decisions, what we can do is play to the whistle rather than stand waving at a linesman while the Levante player runs towards goal. The decision may have been wrong, ive not seen a replay yet, but our players are responsible or at least complicit, for not playing to the whistle.
-
Well hopefully whatever it was, the board can come back with a new offer and meet him halfway. If for nothing else than to piss MJC off.
-
Im in two minds, On the one hand, Faddy is a 'well legend and I have no problem with him training with us, using the facilities and maybe even having his ear bent to try and sign for us. However, I'de be royally pissed off if we spend the time getting him up to full fitness and then he signs for one of our rivals. As much as Faddy coming home this early in his career was a pipe dream, a lack of options might have meant it was closer to reality than we all thought. Just a shame we couldn't seal the deal.
-
The seats look cool, but the rest of the dug out is as shite as always
-
Wasn't there on Saturday but from what I've read, he appears to have had a pretty good game.
-
Brilliant if we get Faddy, but i'de be a wee dissapointed that we couldnt do a deal earlier and get him on board for the CL.
-
Yawn. Yer boy got kicked out the Jamaica squad and then (one shot aside) forgot to turn up for the first two games of this season. Give it a rest. Anyway, Jenno's history. Wish him all the best, but Motherwell players are far more important!
-
Is that accurate or internet rumours? My Hearts mate at work told me yesterday he paid £35 for his.
-
I expect us to get royally pumped but as long as our boys give it 100%, we cant ask for more
-
guess we now know mccalls opinion of page. Saying that, c'mon cummins, take your chance& make a name for yourself!
-
Whilst i do agree it was idiotic, i think an FBO for throwing scrunched up paper is ott and not what the sanction was designed for. Agree with your sentiment though that we cant afford to let the behaviour of idiots bring fines etc on us.
-
You do actually have something in commons with keevins- the pish you both spout!!
-
No fannying about sitting back. Lets just PUMP THEM!!

I was working in aberdeen yesterday, had to get the train up at the crack of dawn. When the wee bird announced no alcohol till 10am, she said 'no visable alcohol'. Dont know if that is indeed the rule, or she was just letting passengers know to not make it obvious.
