You would hope so. Im hoping we can push on and make a real effort to get 2nd. The difference between 2nd and 3rd is a reported £900k. Given that we certainly dont budget for a 3rd place finish, it would be a jackpot. Would hopefully mean McCall can go another season without selling anyone.

Law has been having a great spell for the last month+. He certainly doesn't deserve to be left out. Humphrey is a great addition to our squad, no argument from me but IMO, he's not one of our best 11! Therefore, his place is the bench.
-
Hump on the bench for me. Defo give him some decent game time though once Aberdeen are knackered!

I think if, and its a massive if, we were to win the cup and finish 2nd then he would get the award. That is probably the only thing that could trump a title win, and lets not forget that Lennons mob caught up the 15 point margin before the other mob got their points deduction. As much as I don't like particularly like Lennon or Celtic, they have certainly deserved praise for the way they have went about their business over the last couple of months. Really can't see a 3rd place finish beating a manager who wins the title. Saying all that, I would fucking love to win the cup and who cares what the SFA/SPL whoever thinks is the best manager. If McCall got us a cup win and 2nd or even 3rd, he would be up their with Fir Park greats. Postiejim and TheLip would have heart failure right enough.

Dunfermline Vs Motherwell Discussion Thread

Obviously hoping we scud them, but I'll take any sort of win right now. 3 points will keep the chasing pack from getting ideas above their station! -
I thought that until he got injured, but he doesnt offer what ojamma brings to the side
-
An experience they wouldnt have had the opportunity to have otherwise! Photo opp, yes. But still an experience for these underpriviledged kids.
-
He had a nightmare on the pitch a couple of months back. Cant remember who we were playing. I remember thinking he wasnt helped by clancy playing at rightback thinking he was cafu
-
Im not sure if your being sarcastic?? I dont personally see a problem with it. I think either celtic themselves or various celtic supporters groups donate to these orphans. Nice gesture to bring them over& give them a wee trip! Cant say i agree with calling them thai tims, they will probably be buddist after all! Aside from that, nothing to get your knickers in a twist about.

No comment, critique or opinion postiejim??

Exactly, and its important to remember that we are better than everyone whos taken points off them this season!
-
Fuck it, it wont be the last time we get humped, might even fire the boys right up for the run in!
-
Im 100% with you there, wev been humped enough times that another1 wont damage us. What we do have though is a team with sky high confidence& currently scoring goals for fun. Dont mess about with tactics to play them, let them worry about us, give them both barrels with everything wev got. If they hump us, fair enough, we'l still be at least 9 clear of 4th

Watch the game unfold through twitter. Haven't done it myself as Im at the games, but when I check the twatter afterwards, theres screeds of official game updates

Fucking Brilliant! Since wee Ojamma has come in, and the formation has switched to 4-4-2, we have went from a tepid, dare say it boring to watch side, struggling to score goals, into an explosive, all guns blazing steamroller! I make that 19 goals in the last 5 home games! A joy to watch! Lets keep this up, mon the fucking 'well!!! sorry about the short original post, got a lot of work to get on with today
-
aye, hutchy got one
-
I dont even know what to say about that game. Fucking quality game of football. Should have won it a bit more comfortably, 2 of hibs goals down to basic errors. Expect to see craigan back in on saturday. First half hour we didnt turn up, without lasley, jenno was manning the engine room on his own& getting over run. Then, credit to the boys, we dug in& the class began to shine through. Ojamma went through a power of work, &took a beating off the hibs defence. Brilliant shot off the bar. Higgy hatrick including an acrobatic effort! Fucking yaaas! Lets all do the higgy!!
-
Teams playing quality, quick wer motherwell fans, what else can we moan about....
-
Lasley is pretty much guaranteed a yellow against celtic. To beat celtic you have to get right in their faces, lasleys one of our players whos not scared of doing that
-
Hes missing two games, whats the situation with the bookings that he mentions 5yellows? Is he due another ban at 6? If so, considering the situation with rangers, potential for 2nd place and or champs league qualification, him& mccall need to be clever& plan when to get the next ban. Same with jenno&probably hutch. Got some big games coming up!!
-
Has it been confirmed how long he's been suspended for? Its been suggested to me today from someone who knows the family that he's going to miss two games
-
Lets just get champions league, the possibility of playing in that, and the extra money we could throw at him, we might not need to sell Randolph! Wishful thinking I know, but its nice to start Monday mornings off with a positive.
-
^ Agree with Tweed there. Got to say though, imagine how many of those draws we could have won had we got Ojamma at the start of the season!
-
Depends what the administrators do to their squad this week!
-
That was brilliant today, and surprisingly comfortable! Everyone played their part, wee Ojamma was different class with his constant movement. And is it me or does he look slimmer and fitter already? Hopefully he keeps improving at this rate! Lasley to get a second yellow for that challenge was harsh, surprised McCall hadn't hooked him at half time since we were comfortable and 2 clear. Hopefully its a straight swap, Las for Carswell on Wednesday, don't break up that defence, leave Hately in his best position at right back! Mon the 'well! PS - The fans were superb today!
