Fair enough. I dont see why they wouldnt be voting with the consensus of the fans. I havent seen anything yet to suggest otherwise. Would expect that if they went against an 82% majority they would have far more problems to worry about than had they not offered the fans the vote in the first place

There is absolutley no danger of not getting a ticket for this. Home fans are going to have the south stand available as well. Seems very strange that the selling of tickets was not made in conjunction with a trumpeting press release about our first ever CL Tie!

I agree with the sentiment, but what should have happened weeks ago was a concerted effort by the media, or at least those sympathetic in the media and SPL member clubs to raise the profile of this and in particular show that sky removing the money is essentially them being complicit in a corrupt regime. Murdochs stock is at an all time low, the last thing he needs is a proper national smear campaign questioning his companies morals! This would only be a goer however if there was real emphasis in the media, backed by fans petitions etc.

I read Trainors story this morning, I would really like to think its a lot of bull, any chairman doing a U-turn now would send the game into a major meltdown. The story isn't even consistent. First paragraph we have got 3 clubs facing admin, then at the end we are up to 5. Talk of losing £650k tv money in august for this season? TV deal is in place for this season, we won't see any problems until next season. Green got the helicopter ready to fly to every chairman? A bit sensationalist but maybe he does have it ready, but only because he's sh!ting himself that even the rangers fans are not buying into him never mind anyone else. Un-named sources?? In the last few weeks we have read 'un named sources' at sky saying they have no intention of pulling out, and other 'un named sources' saying they will. It could all be true and then no-doubt we are all fucked. But I am reasonably comfortable that this is just scare mongering at its worst and a last throw of the dice by the corrupt journo's who know that there might have to be cut backs in their game as well!

I would quite like to see flows post or at least section 3 of it put out as an official press release. Not really to assure motherwell fans, but such a 'for the avoidance of doubt' press release would really stir up a hornets nest. Particularly if accompanied by some official dissaproval of the document, the authors& the channels it was released in.

Great post from flow& excellent to hear that mfc knew nothing about 'the document'. Maybe now some of the posters on here can put their knickers on the washing line, at least for a couple of days! To echo what a few people have said though, its very concerning that that document went out in the first place without being circulated to spl clubs for comment or the chairman who sit on the spl board!

Your like a dog in heat, you keep getting way ahead of yourself! Rangers are not getting punished for all the dodgy dealings they were getting up to. Rangers have been banjoyed out the league because they were liquidated, plain and simple. The same punishment that would befall any other club.

MFC had to put a statement out today. We had a former directors statement being bandied about by the press as official mfc stance. We had to distance ourselves from that& show that our board are still considering all the options. As has been the case with any statement mfc has released so far, panty wetters on here read into it whatever they like. Why not just chill out, when the decision comes then you can either burn last seasons season ticket& stay away from fir park for 4 games if we let them in, or celebrate when we hopefully kick them out!! Enjoy the summer rather that reading whatever suits your opinion into the club statements

It depends what the 207 is from. If we are saying that its 207 from the 11,000 that went to the cup final, then no. If however thete was some qualification put on the 207 to show it was.statistically significant& representative of the 'well support, then yes. I think you are getting carried away with yourself. Our club& the other 10spl clubs will not be voting to deal with the rules that they have broken. We will be making a decision on whether a newco gets back in. Its not for mfc to hand out punishments on EBTs, non payment of PAYE or at this moment alledged double contracts. If they are not to be castigated down to div3 then mfc are well within their rights to try to impose sanctions& redress the balance as a condition of rangers survival!

Im in the same boat andy, ive justified it to myself that i'll go to the first game if its feasible. If we then end up with a cant miss tie in the second game then it will be visa cards, begging bowls, whatever it takes. Im on holiday to vegas the first week in july, my pipe dream is that im gonna win a small fortune to cover the entire european tour......
