Encouraging words from mccall on radio scotland tonight. Asked if we were working behind the scenes in getting a deal for the wee man, he said of course!
-
I would play wingers every week if they could deliver. Lets face it, he's never going to be davey cooper, but then youv never seen cooper play! :-(

if you go to games regularly you can see daley is far superior footballer. Dont get me wrong, i do think humphrey has a lot to offer our squad, on his game he can be devastating, but you cant rely on that 1 game in 10. Hes an impact player, an indulgence to use against tired defenders. Not an automatic first teamer. IMO
-
On tuesday humphrey deserves credit for being in the right place& taking his goal no doubt. Apart from that, he didnt do snything else good, infact literally 30 seconds before his goal he got a bollocking off jeno for fannying about& not marking his man. He certainly didnt do enough to get back in the team in my opinion, saying that i wouldnt have daley straight back in either. Still stand by my opinion that daley is s far superior player to humphrey.

You loved daley a few weeks ago, whats triggered the hate? The fact he's got a football brain to go with his pace& shows your boy up everytime??
-
Agree that he would recieve a ban. Don't think it would be fair though
-
Was it sticky??

Hugh Dallas sent an email about the pope using his work email address. Not in any way, shape or form comparable. Sorry.

See, I agree that he's talking shite and is quite probably towing the party line, but really was he that bad a journalist? Are you sure your not mixing him up with Daryl King? I think, that Broadfoot managed to become chief football writer at the Herald at the age of 28. Thats not too shabby an achievment. Granted the standard of journalism is poor in this country, but he was much better than some of those who write in the red tops. *Still a c**t though, obviously!
-
I don't really like or agree with some of the tweets, but I don't think we should be getting up in arms that Broadfoot tweated x y and z. If he had done it from the SFA twitter feed then yes, but from his own personal account then its his opinion and to be honest, he's surely entitiled to one. Lets not forget that pretty much everyone who works for a media agency always has the disclaimer these views are my own and not those of the 'add appropriate organisation.'

Higdons ban might be a good thing in that in means the team can continue to mix it up a bit. With a front two of Ojamma and Murphy, there can be no long balls up the park. We are going to be forced to play it on the deck and to be honest, that will hopefully suit us! Still would rather we had Higgy playing right enough!
-
He might not turn out to be a 20goal per season striker, but he is what we have been crying out for, i.e. someone who can take people on AND is not afraid to shoot. He added a new dimension to our game and got the whole team involved. Suddenly we had a new out ball& someone to work with higgy getting on the end of his knockdowns. Ojamma might not turn into the teams superstar, but he could easily make himself a key member of our team. SIGN HIM!!
-
Its quite hard to make it a spectacle when you are down to 10 men though. In terms of entertainment, that was easily the best we have had at Fir Park this season.
-
We don't need to tinker with it to put Murphy in. We will be allowed to start with 11 men on Saturday!
-
Maybe a bit off the wall, but surely we can offer Ojamma a pre contract? He's got a 6 month deal which means he can talk to anyone, including us. Give him the pre-contract, showing what he will get when he signs for us properly in the summer, after we have freed up some wages. Wishful thinking??

Belter of a game, and the most enjoyable one at Fir Park this season, despite the ref being an idiot! Didn't see what happened to Craigan, and haven't saw highlights yet so cant really comment on the red, but the fact the ref seemed intent on dishing out yellows to every Motherwell challenge but allow Dunfermline to get away unpunished only served to rile up the fans and unite the team. Well done to every player in claret and amber lastnight, great performance. Big Higgy was clearly much better playing with a partner, and wee Ojama, was quality buzzing around and fighting for every ball. Great finish for his goal too. If he's only on peanuts, then reward the boy right now. Dig into the pockets and get some sort of deal around his neck or else he will be out the door in June as other clubs will only need to offer him a half decent wedge. When did Nicky Law learn to shoot? Great goal. Finally, great performance by the boys doing the singing. Had the place bouncing along all night. More of the same on Saturday please! Mon the 'well and lets all do the higgy!
-
Well done tonight guys! Boom boom boom! Since i was young!.....
-
Higgy needs the boys with the drum down in the corner to put together a song. Those that aren't foaming at the mouth can belt the song out for the first half on Tuesday and it'll do the big mans confidence some good.
-
One of his pals wishes him luck doing his thing in scotland& to come back down. Randy says 'soon'. Hopefully soon doesnt mean in the next 10 days.
-
Thats how i read them too. Hope we can keep him till the summer, been a while since wev had a crap keeper.....
-
Agree with that^. However with the exception of the celtic game, he has been rank rotten. But yes, during gannons time, he was excellent& not just his goals he contributed. Remember the league cup game we had against lower oposition? Getting held to a draw at full time& if memory serves me correct he came on in extra time & changed the game! Bossed the midfield, was everywhere, & scored the winner! The boy definatley had something
-
The whole team. Lets face it, we'r 4th in the league with 2 games in hand. Its a shocking state of affairs to be in, each one of those c***s should hang their heads in shame! As for the manager, fucking inept waste of space, taking us nowhere, he should be the first out the door. Somebody get rid of Randolph too, he tried to leather me........
-
Forbes, Humphrey and Page playing......
-
Personaly i think Randolph is better than Ruddy was when he was at Fir Park. Saying that, Ruddy has been playing week in week out against better players for nearly 2years now so i would now expect him to now be the better keeper. Randolph could hold his own in champ& probably premiership in my opinion.

I noticed my mistake as soon as id submitted. Good pricing, well done both clubs
