  1. Why wouldn't you get them?? 3000 season tickets, even if everyone buys 4 each that still leaves 4000 tickets remaining before they go on public sale. Now I am guessing if you plan to get your ticket on Monday then you have a season ticket. Chill out, theres more than enough to go around. Sleep in your own bed on Sunday night, it'll be fine.
  2. Given that we have a home gate average attendance of 4000, and could only manage a mighty 7000 for the semi final, where everyone that wanted a ticket could get one, that still leaves 9000 tickets for maws, burds, pals etc. Calm down. Everyone will be fine. And given that we only took 7000 to the final, i don't feel the least bit bad about taking my bird to the final for her first ever 'well game!
  3. I would expect that if you are succesful in the ballot, you are then allowed to purchase a ticket.
  4. Fucksake, get a grip. We get a regular 4000 punters if we are lucky. If we are given the quoted 16000 tickets, that leaves 12,000 tickets for burds, maws, pals that don't go often etc etc. Thats the equivelant of filling fir park with unregular attendee's. Not going to happen! Wind yer necks in, there will be plenty to go around. PS- Im taking my burd with one of the tickets I will get from my ST!
  5. Fuck it, if he wins the cup for us then he will deservedly be Claret and Amber forever!
  6. Fuck them! There fans paid premium prices for an Old Firm Final! They both charged mental prices for their scottish cup games against each other this season too - £40 a skull or something, because they both knew they would sell out.
  7. These threads are always gold. Season ticket holders think we should get first dibs, anyone who doesnt have a season ticket thinks that scenario is out of order. Give it another couple of pages and we can progress to the 'better fan' debate. Get a grip, when the tickets get announced, we will all get one.
  8. And then all the best ones would leave. Over the last 5-10 years the majority of the best refs have been highly paid proffessionals in their day jobs. What would the SPL pay a pro ref? I can't imagine they would go above £35k. That figure isn't going to appeal to anyone who is busy making £100k+ per year.
  9. If they wear £600 jackets to the football, they deserve a skelp in the chops on general principal.
  10. Unless they have put on a special service, you do know you will have to change trains at Newton, or alternativley go into Central and head back out on the circle line to MF. They don't run direct from Motherwell. Don't want you missing the birth and the game!

    Humphrey

No point in getting wound up about it. How many of us wouldn't jump ship to a new company for increase in our annual salary of £5k? If our flying winger goes to the premiership he will get at least that sort of increase weekly! Its not something we can do anything about, and it wouldn't be a hard decision for Humphrey to make either.
  12. Is cup tv money not worth in the region of £80k per team featured? Im sure I've heard that figure bandied about before. If its accurate then it shows how important tv is.
  13. Suttons key strength is that when he's on his game, he wins absolutley everything in the air. The golden man wins hee-haw. What we need is someone who will bang in a stack of goals. If thats not him, then no point in playing him infront of our very good three attacking options. I am also yet to be convinced of McHugh, however haven't seen him perform as badly as Cassagolda did against Kilmarnock, so for that reason alone, I would have him infront of the Spaniard.
  14. Your suggesting he would be better than 1 of Sutton, Jeffers and Murphy??
  15. I pumped my burd this morning, and I still think he's shite. Granted, I wasn't at Tynecastle yesterday, but his performance against Kilmarnock was enough for me.
  16. That will be the chapter when his contract expires and McCall tells him to fuck right off!
  17. I've thought about this before, to be honest I wouldn't want any direct involvement with the club. I would be happy to set up a fund that guaranteed a set contribution to players every season, say £200k per season. On the proviso that this was not to be budgeted for, i.e. I wouldnt want the movers and shakers thinking they had a guaranteed £200k per year so they could just piss the other funds against a wall and only buy new players with my money. In short, my investment should be looked at as supplemental to everything the club did.
  18. I take it you were not at the game against Kilmarnock in February?
  19. That will be the same St Johnstone that beat us what 6 weeks ago??
  20. Maybe it was put at the 29th originally at our request so that we can have some time to grow some grass?? I have no knowledge if the above is true, i am just throwing it out there. It would be a major fuck up by us, if that was the case.
  21. Great news for Randolph, major kick in the baws for us if we have to play the Dundee United replay without him.
  22. Except for the overheads of opening and running the stadium for a night.
  23. Common sense would suggest that since both clubs agreed to £10 for the original tie, they will be consistent with the replay. Heres hoping...............
  24. Like spending time reading and posting nonsense on the internet?
