  1. I've thought about this before, to be honest I wouldn't want any direct involvement with the club. I would be happy to set up a fund that guaranteed a set contribution to players every season, say £200k per season. On the proviso that this was not to be budgeted for, i.e. I wouldnt want the movers and shakers thinking they had a guaranteed £200k per year so they could just piss the other funds against a wall and only buy new players with my money. In short, my investment should be looked at as supplemental to everything the club did.
  2. I take it you were not at the game against Kilmarnock in February?
  3. That will be the same St Johnstone that beat us what 6 weeks ago??
  4. Maybe it was put at the 29th originally at our request so that we can have some time to grow some grass?? I have no knowledge if the above is true, i am just throwing it out there. It would be a major fuck up by us, if that was the case.
  5. Great news for Randolph, major kick in the baws for us if we have to play the Dundee United replay without him.
  6. Except for the overheads of opening and running the stadium for a night.
  7. Common sense would suggest that since both clubs agreed to £10 for the original tie, they will be consistent with the replay. Heres hoping...............
  8. Like spending time reading and posting nonsense on the internet?
  9. Interesting you should say that. Do we think Hutchy ticks both boxes in that he can play and would run through a brick wall, kick his gran etc etc??
  10. Reynolds hasn't had a shot playing Centre Half yet for Wednesday, until he gets that Im not sure you can make a good judgement on him. Rangers and Celtic, agree they are not as good as the Prem with the players they have, however the thing is if they ever had access to it they would instantly get better due to the money flooding in. Rangers and Celtic, as much as we hate them for it are massive clubs world wide. If they were in the Prem or even championship, they would have a rich buyer instantly and race up into the upper tiers.
  11. Even losing a decent sized wedge on that Arsenal result can't ruin my day! Mon the fucking 'well! PS- I just can't get enough!
  12. Since grass starts growing with 5degree temperatures, then you would hope so.
  13. Guys, I think you need to come to Motherwell games every week!!
  14. Just in, that was brilliant. To a man, we were outstanding. Got torn right into them, gave Celtic no respect and showed the hunger we need to. We deserved that win. I thought Forbes was reborn today. He was all over the park, never stopped running, and got stuck into tackles. Gunning was superb in centre half and looked an ideal partner for Hutch, can't say enough about Sutton's contribution, and the rest of the team was top drawer. All the posters who have spent the last two months on here moaning about everything Motherwell and Scottish football related, wind your neck in now. Today was what it was all about! Mon the fucking 'well!! PS, Doing the celtic 'do do do' thing and getting it right up them was quality!
  15. I don't think the blame can be entirley squared at the south stand. When you look at any of the large stadiums across the UK, you do not see a small stand built in the southern corner to let the light in. Granted, I don't think it helps, but I don't think it is the route cause if you pardon the pun.
  16. Whilst some of the moans on here are farcial, e.g. the tube that got thrown out for jumping the gate and onto the park, this one if correct is a disgrace. I really hope you and the old man in question take it further.
  17. After getting beat off St Midden, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a belter of a Motherwell performance that narrowly loses by the odd goal. The sort of performance that would have knocked the midden for 6.
  18. With this rain and three games in a week our pitch is going to be looking very pretty for the live TV audience on Sunday.
  19. Interesting to note quite how muh better St Mirren's pitch is than ours. Maybe their groundstaff don't drive machinery over it in winter!
  20. Big Stall

    Hamilton

Hutchy for me, on hand to sweep up for Craggs mistakes.
  21. Maybe some of the respondents actually thought he was personally emailing them. Fair play to the gaffer, having the time and inclination to read replies.
  22. What I can't believe is that some 'well fans are emailing back to a mass email! As for the content, keep it up Stuart, I am enjoying these.
  23. Are they maybe waiting until the games from the fixture card are complete? i.e. tonights games as well?
