See I was always of this opinion, but the last couple of games he's played I have been very impressed with him. Hope he keeps it up.
-
I don't know the legalities, but I would imagine PC Plod would have something to say to you if you set off a smoke bomb in Buchanan Street. I really don't see why people get so worked up about not being allowed to use one in a confined stadium.
-
Maybe we could send him to the college for 5 years?
-
Seriously, on this guy you have to watch his performances in the flesh to realise how brutal he is.
-
I agree with you, but I would also say, he's going to have to be really bad to be worse than what we saw of the goal machine the other night.
-
Aside from Cassagolda, I thought as a team we played well and I was quite encouraged by it all. We were clearly the better side and just got mugged on the night. Cammy bell played a blinder and our team missed a hat full of chances, not counting the ones Cassagolda decided to not bother kicking. Hopefully the goals will come. We certainly played well enough to win.

I was willing to give him a chance, but Im sorry he was shocking lastnight. And I really hope all those on here that are saying he needs time to get going etc, were actually at the game. Because if you base those opinions on 'just letting a 'well player have a chance' rather than actually seeing how bad he was, then you are off your head. First 45 minutes the guy was running scared of the ball. Barley got near it and when he did he fresh aired his kicks. His miss, right at the end of the first half from the Jones cut back was criminal. For such a big guy, he has no apparant body strength and absolutley nothing to offer with his head. He can't win a ball in the air and on the evidence of lastnight, was no better with the ball at his feet. Jamie Murphy is lightweight and not an out and out goal scorer but at least he makes sure he gets involved in the game, even if it means having to come back and work for it. Cassagolda fannies about up top like a primary school team moocher. Cassagolda is a fraud of a footballer.

To be honest Im bored of the whole debate mate. Would I like to know what really went on? Of course. Do I lie awake at night thinking Gannon ruined the club/could have turned us into something special? Not at all. The only reason I chimed in here was the point that there appear to be a number of posters who claim to know the facts. These facts appear to contradict what the players would have to say. Unless Im missing something, I'll take the man at the coal face's word any day of the week before the opinion of people on the internet.
-
I would expect, that whilst there might be some degree of bias, Las and Crags views are probably 100% more informed than the majority on here.
-
Given the state of our pitch last week, I would think the best course of action would be to find some excuse/any excuse to get the game postponed. If it was only superficially fucked last week with sand or whatever else excuses we chose to wheel out, it will be destroyed after a game in these conditions tonight.

Did you get the 2 4 1 pizza deal? Quality! Lived in Shawlands for 6 years and went in there at least every other week.
-
I agree with the poster above, we really need to take it to them.. Maybe its just my red wine fuelled malaise, but I think they have an aggregate score for the last 4 games against us of 21-4 maybe? We really need to give these c***s everything we have!!!

Hearts are the third best side in the league, but nothing Rangers at full strength need to overly worry about. Rangers will be at full strength tomorrow, at least for the first half!
-
Its live on TV in the UK mate, there must be some sort of internet feed you can watch it on.

At the end of the day, Faddy probably gets paid in the region of at least 30k a week, and he's not even 30 yet. He won't be coming to us until he truly is 'past it'. If you were Faddy, would you swap your 30k per week wages in the premiership for 2k max at Motherwell?? I still hope he will be back one day, just don't see that being any time soon.
-
I've got no issue with away players giving it to home fans.
-
It will also be good practice for our pitch in the next couple of months.
-
I don't know with any authority the effects heavy machinary has on a football pitch, but can't imagine that it wouldn't do damage. What I do know is that golf courses don't allow buggies in periods of heavy rain fall, and many ban buggies and even electric caddy cars during the winter as the weight and wheel traction can damage the surfaces. Given that our pitch is brand spanking new and delicate, I would have thought best practice would be to keep any heavy duty gear off it. *Happy for my opinion to be put right by someone with real knowledge/experience on the subject.

Easy enough to say when your sitting at your keyboard 5000 miles away. Its a bit different when you are wrapped up in the atmosphere, the guy makes the same mistakes over and over again and then starts gesticulating at the crowd as though its their fault.
-
The people that pay his wages?? Never saw Fitzy sink to that level.

Smith was a good shot stopper, and that's about the limit of his abilities. He was/is still, shite at dealing with cross balls and can't kick! He was a liability whenever a corner or freekick was swung into the box and it's nice to see that we can now take advantage of his deficiencies. Maybe we have been spoiled with Ruddy and Randy, but in comparison, Smith was and blatantly still is, a bombscare! PS- I still haven't seen Ruddy or Randolph give blatant shut up/fuck off gestures to the home fans the way I saw Smith do on more than one occasion. Smith took his 'big move' to Brighton to get in the Scotland squad. I see thats worked out well for him. In fairness, its actually been the best thing (goal keeper wise) that could have happened to us.

Hutchy, right from the first minute he dominated everything that came near him. Saunders did well, as did Hammill and the new boy.
-
Except when Hutchy crunched someone in the first ten minutes and managed to excavate a sizeable trench.

This thread has went mental with porridge, dribbles, wet pants etc, add as appropriate. Theres only one thing for it........ Yes, Im bored. But Jesus Christ. We missed out on a boy that can't get in the squad of a championship team. Its not exactly the second coming of administration!

I don't think we would lose a final to Aberdeen. Those bastards have had too much over us recently, McGhee, Brown, Blackman etc. Its about time something went for us, and given how much their fans live in a fantasy world about their place in football, it would be poetic justice for us to turn them over in a cup final. Plus, as Humphrey said in an interview when Brown left......... "I hope we give them a doo'in!"
