You would rather play someone who the previous management brought in but have obviously had second thoughts about hence his lack of game time (when fit), than a player who has been key to any success we have had this season and has 10 goals in the bank??

Whats the contract situation with the three of them? I thought they were out of contract as of yesterday? Or do they run until the end of January?

Pulled off a cracker of a save from Muphy deep into the second half, but that's about it. We were shite!! Sutton was much better than Gow. Not really much else to add, it was a dire game. Hamilton played their usual game and we were too shite to take the game to them. Hopefully McCall can fire them up.

I see where you are coming from, but in reality, it is normal to list the biggest clubs. I would expect had we appointed Nicky Butt, we would be reading about former Manchester United legend. And forgot all about Newcastle, Birmingham City and South China. At the end of the day, his biggest achievements were with Rangers and Scotland, the press and punters up here will most associate him with those two aspects. I don't really see the problem. Many Condolences

Don't usually engage in all the usual, someone told me something pish but what the fuck..... Was just told by someone who was speaking to someone in the know at the club, that we'v got burst pipes in the South Stand. Dependant on how bad it is, boxing day game might not be able to happen. Would be interesting to see (if true) how the press react to it, and compare this reaction with Rangers burst pipes last weekend.

That would be the same game where we got a very 'fortunate' penalty! no??

Each to their own. I would rather we kept doing well, qualifying for europe and losing a manager every year than get a diddy who leads us from one relegation battle to the next.

Never thought I'de agree with a celtic fan on P&B but one just posted this in Jenno's defence.... Next time i watch a game that gets a couple of early yellows and a lunatic ref, im defo going to check out the in game red card markets. If the bookies want to investigate, fair enough but it was glaringly obvious early doors someone was getting sent off. I said to Andy P as soon as the first yellow came out that there would be at least one red during the game!

Maybe it wasn't a scam. Anyone anywhere watching that match would know there was a very good chance it wasn't going to finish with 22 men on the field.

The problem I have with Clarke is that he's pretty much been linked with every job going and to date he's got none of them. There must be a reason for it, perhaps he really isn't as good as we think, or potentially he isn't that interested in these jobs. Would still rather have Wilkins.

Thats because he's not daft. He new he wasn't going to get sacked at Motherwell, so no requirement of a contract, a contract would only dissuade possible suiters as they would have to pay compo to get him. Aberdeen on the other hand are very likely to sack him if things don't go well. Get a contract around your neck and you are protected for the next 2 and a half years. Shrewd operator!

I do like the rhetoric, but at the end of the day, we are only the 'well. It would seem only Celtic have the balls to stand up and demand action when integrity of the league is at stake. Would expect the SPL will glance at the surface, no contract, no foul, carry on. Although I would like to see Boyle go to town on them

Phil Brown was deparate to go to Aberdeen. Now obviously as McGoo and Broon have proven, we don't have the same pulling power as the sheep, but we are a better gig at the moment and have been for at least the last 5 years.
