Great to get a result & a first half performance. Should have scored a few more in the 1st half. Dont want to get too excited as Livi were dire, but lets enjoy the 3 points -its been a while! Big Bair was constantly on it and that second goal was a beauty. Not sure how he missed the one early doors or when mika laid the hat trick on a plate for him but it made no difference. Mon the 'well!!!

Watching on tv today (in contrast to my seat almost a pitch level) was an eye opener as to how bad we actually are. The inability to execute simple passes is shocking. There was also plenty of times we could have got in behind rangers but our players couldnt see, perhaps dont have the vision to see the pass. The marking was brutal, or perhaps better described as non existant and tje fact we barely registered a shot at goal is shocking. Now, given the gulf in finance, no one should be expecting us to beat rangers but the abject lack of any kind of football basics was there for all to see. That type of performance is not going to arrest our decline. We need new blood in January and to be honest, quite possibly a fresh set of eyes in the dug out. These guys might be 'trying' but we are clearly either not coached well enough or just not good enough.

You should be dropped when your form drops. You dont get a free pass. If we have a team who think they are untouchable regardless of the performance they put in then we are in real bother. Its the same in any job! And Ronaldo was dropped for his performances. They realised his role was not helping the team. His attitude then sunk when he was dropped.

Yes, to show that if one of the greatest players to ever play the game (and team captain) can be dropped in a world cup, then we can certainly drop Liam Kelly

Complete pish. In a team, everyone has to pull their weight. If they don't, they get replaced. Thats the way it works. Kelly continues to make mistakes. A spell on the bench is what is required, even if it is only a couple of games. That is the point of competition for places. He shouldnt get a free pass just because he is captain. Again, Ronaldo was dropped during the world cup! We can certainly take Kelly out of the headlights for a few SPFL games. As an experienced player he knows full well that is an option and should be able to take it on the chin. If he cant accept it, and decided to throw the toys out the pram & fracture the dressing room, then we would be better off without him.

I don't think anyone expects Ox to be an exceptional keeper. I think what those of us who are calling for him is purely because Kelly has been horrific in the last few months and if you are going to pay a fee for a reserve keeper then he must have something about him. The reserve keepers job is to keep the main keeper on his toes and be ready to push for a place. Competition is what is needed and if a spell on the sidelines gets Kelly back up and firing then even better. The absolute nonsense I have been reading upthread that we can't drop the goalie incase it hurts his or anyone elses feelings is head scratching. Every Keeper - infact every player in every team should know that if they do not perform then someone else gets a chance. If Portugal can do it with Ronaldo then we can certainly do it with Kelly.

I give him a little more time, but.... Keeper needs a spell on the bench The next few games needs to be on thid back to basics aproach. Play cunts in the right position. Nothing fancy. Keep it tight. Seemed to work today except for kelly.

Honestly, regardless of how good or bad the Ox is...... what is the point of paying real money on a back up keeper if he cant put pressure on the number 1?? Kelly has been poor for months. His position should be up for grabs. Why the other lad has not been given a chance is beyond me. The other point is, he is out of contract in the summer. Why would he re-sign if he has spent a year & a half watching a diddy in front of him & not getting a chance?

Not often you are correct but yes, agree with you here. If shirt pulling is a penalty then thats fine & we play to that rule. The issue is that plenty shirt pulls dont get looked at. MJC blabbers about seeth but half of that is due to using VAR when it would 'appear to suit' rather than on a blanket basis. For what its worth, yes, the Rangers one today was a shirt pull & by the rules, a pen. How many shirt pulls in the box across all top division games in Scotland this weekend went unpunished? Just get VAR to fuck

As good as it would be to get big Kev back, its clear that despite only having 1 good striker, scoring goals is not our issue. We leaked 9 goals in November alone. That doesnt include the 3 County took off us. As good as having Mika & Big Kev together would be, its not stopping the rot at the back
