Because if they paid for a season ticket then they made the commitment to the club early and fronted up 250quid+ back in May. That money will no doubt have been utilised by the club during the summer when they realistically have no other income stream short of selling players, so its only fair to reward ST holders. Hence, first shout.

When i paid for mine in May, I said I would just collect them when they were ready as I was moving house at the start of July and didnt want my season ticket to get posted out to someone else. I moved in on the 2nd of July, and there it was waiting for me at my new address. No harm done this time, but just as well the previous owner didnt take a fancy to £250 worth of season ticket.

As much as I'de love to see Moscow, it would be too expensive for me to get there at the moment. Given that we are Motherwell and futurequalification for europe is far from guaranteed, I would love an accesible glamour tie that a couple of thousand 'well fans can get to like we all did for Nancy. Better to share the fun rather than look at photos on the internet from a few fortunate 'well fans. IMO.

I would say he wasn't 100% fit in the shambolic display at Ibrox and the goals conceeded against Flamurtari, he had a dodgy keeper behind him. I think he is going to be our best player by a mile, and had he been a Rangers player Liverpool would have signed him up before Wilson. He does however need a bit more experience, which he will get at Motherwell soon enough no doubt.

JOB was not great, but.............. JOB could do what the majority of our team can't. He can get the ball, run at defenders beating men and he could open the game up. We haven't lost the best player Motherwell has ever seen thats for sure. But without him or a Slane or a McCormack or even a Faddy before them all, we have lost that little bit extra which can separate you from being a middle of the road spl team, to one who can take the game to the opposition and push for europe. IMO!

Yes, I would agree, and Germany is still reasonably driveable if flights etc go through the roof. Driving to Southern Spain, Italy or eastern Europe would be a royal pain in the tits.
