Where does JOB fit into all of this though? Granted he put in a shift yesterday but the amount of moaning and shouting at his team mates when they fucked up and didnt pass to him was unbelievable. Maybe if the guy was Messi, but there was numerous occassions he himself fucked up. If none of his fellow players are going to shout back at him, should those of us in the stand just give him a free pass??

To be honest its a daft question, a bit like turkeys voting for christmas. In every aspect of life if you ask someone how much they should pay etc, they will always want to pay less and get more in return. We all want to pay a tenner, but if the club can only break even/maintain working cashflow on £18+ then thats what its got to be.

Actually, by and large Dundee United have been absolutley dross since their purple patch in the 80's. I don't think they have finished higher than 5th since the formation of the new look SPL, and that has only really been since Levein took over. Time will tell if the guy has left a legacy and if Thomsons son is as bad as chosing managers as his father was. Word is they are shafted in terms of debts (not as bad as Hearts and Killie mind), so I wouldnt be surprised to see them dropping down to the yo-yo type status we supposedly enjoy.

I was in the main stand as well lastnight, at least I got a padded seat and comp ticket for my troubles. From where we were sitting we had a great view of the 3 gilt edged chances St Mirren missed. We were really lucky to get out of jail. While we could maybe say we shaded the match in terms of play, we certainly didnt have chances like that. We could easily be sat here lamenting a 3-0 pumping. At the end of the day though, we are not the old firm. A point away from home is not 2 points dropped. If we keep winning our home games and drawing away, we will be in a great position come the end of the season. Mon the 'well and lets hump the FHW!

For all the supposed we'v done no bad against them in the league chat, I can't remember the last time I have actually seen us win away against them. I think it would have been thegame that DLS came off the bench and scored, and that might even have been in the cup!! I've got a comp tonight, so hopefully I'll be sitting on my hands with a big smile on my face if/when the 'well fans get to celebrate!

Added to that point, the minute the accies game was called off due to the pipes in the stand, the covers should have been removed and heating switched off. IMO!
