Naw, it was ott, uncalled for and out of order, particularly when thinking about a 17 year old boy who's done buggerall wrong. I think the best comparison would be the intelligence of Frazzle with that of Barry Ferguson.
-
Your post with Slaney and Pearson, based on absolutely zip wasn't OTT negative?
-
Yip, "This has been a set-back but I’ll be working hard to get back fit and doing well for Motherwell .” I wonder if Frazzle will remove the slane - pearson post, or if this statement is still not enough for him.
-
If I was Gannon, I would be banning the players from reading nonsensical reactionary dribble, posted by a bunch of fannies on the internet. IMO.
-
You also said he should be making a statement. How many 17 year olds at any club are allowed to make statements to the press?? Give the kid a break. Gannon himself said Slane was desparatley dissapointed when he pulled up in the warm up at St Johnstone, and he's been injured since. The boy must be desparate to play, especially considering the impact he made in the european games which suggested he would be a first team regular, and now as he see's the rest of the new team doing so well.
-
What a pile of pish! The boys been injured for weeks, nothing has been said by him to indicate he doesn't want to sign, and then we have wallopers like you jumping to conclusions. As to your earlier point about consistency? How you can judge that from a handful of european games where he was one of our star performers is beyond me. The boy is (from what limited first team action we have seen), by far and away our brightest prospect since Faddy. Give him a chance at least, he hasn't said one thing negative about Motherwell, nor conducted himself in a 'whoreing mannor' looking for the first route out. Basically, away an geez awe peace!
-
Met Faddy twice on nights out in the town. First time was back in the day when he was still breaking through and a bit of a wild one, he was standing outside the shak, eating chips and shouting abuse at a bouncer i think. Next time was a few years later just before he left us. He was outside the garage, a good bit more grown up and certainly a lot more sober than I was. He was bang on, shook this drunken steamers hand and gave a bit of 'well chat. Met Dougie Arnott tons of times, usually at the golf or bowling club. First time, I was a 16 year old, and was drawn to play against him in a tie at the bowling club. Fucking loved it, a 16 year old playing and beating Doooooouuuuuugggggggggiiiiiiiieeeee! He even gave me a lift home afterwards.

Thats just nonsence, there was noway the poster could know the 'fanny' was only 12. And to be fair, if he's 12 then he's heard a lot worse than the word fanny. 12 year old or not, he still has to learn that rules are rules. He asked a stupid question.
-
The polis wouldn't allow a semi between Motherwell and the OF to be played in Edinburgh. Given the majority of the fan base living within a 15 mile radius of Hampden it would be a logistical nightmare sending them across the country.
-
Cause the ones that get beat more often, get relegated.
-
And there we have it. 3 pages of pish to conclude that the seating/standing issue or the dae what yer tellt issue, is actually the stewards fault.
-
Sadly I dont know if the terms 'ambitious' and 'long term' really go together at all in football these days, and certainly not at a wee club like ours. Hopefully Jimbo will be the exception however. I would of course like to think that when he brings us champions league qualification he'l want to see it through with us rather than take a big money move to Portsmouth or something like that.
-
Lets put this into perspective. Which scenario would you rather: A- Play infront of 5000 fans every other week, make 2k a week if he's lucky, train at the dalziel, share a dressing room with McGarry, live in the doonside tower? B- Play infront of 50,000 fans every other week, make 10-15k a week, train at Murray Park, share a dressing room with Kirk Broadfoot, live in take your pick from Bothwell, the west end, Bearsden, Helensburgh etc. Just sayin.
-
You are of course entitled to your opinion, but I disagree with that 100%. I would rather take a steady stream of ambitious McGhee's and Gannons, over a stale but consistantly lower side of mediocrisy Jim Jeffries. Besides, it does the squad good to freshen it up every couple of years, keeps them on their toes.
-
Yep, however it was Levien who identified Porter. McGhee managed to get him because Motherwell was 2hours closer to his burd down south.
-
I dont agree with Melvin often, but on this occassion he is spot on. Big Yaas was rolling about like a big girl, the ball go's past him into the right wing chanel and he's back up again like Drogba.
-
I think the presence of this thread and some of the posts contained within, prove that Motherwell, like most other Scottish clubs, has its fair share of mentally retarded imbeciles.
-
Scored a goal, pished on them for the next 10 minutes, couldnt score again. Shite in the second half. If falkirk had of equalised, no one could have complained. 3 points winning ugly. Maybe we are turning into chelsea! Mon the 'well!
-
Agree with that but the fact is that we were good for the first half hour today and then we were pish. So pish in fact that i would say if we had of conceeded late on, it would have been a fair result. There was one team with designs of scoring in the second half and it wasnt us
-
Maybe he'll let you have some of his one then, because you obviously are a retard! Next time you go to the cinema and someone with a big head is sat infront of you, imagine what would happen at fir park were folk allowed to stand anywhere they wanted.

Bottle Bar Launches In Cooper Bar This Saturday

I don't like Becks either. -
As has been said earlier, its probably not a written down to the SPL official policy however, see if it was me making the rules, and I had actually compromised and bent the rules a little to allow what must be close to 400 people to stand in the east stand if they wanted to, and someone like you came to me with that pish, I would just ban it altogether. The club have actually done a good thing here for those that want to stand, theyv listened to you all and made a concession, and yet some people still aren't happy.
-
Probably to stop all these wee arseholes greetin about it and causing trouble. Fucking hell man, the club actually listens to them for once and bends a little but folk are still out raged by it all!
-
Daryl Broadfoot has since taken it back. I texted in the question to superscoreboard a few weeks ago and Peter Martin read it out to put Broadfoot on the spot. He said he has been very surprised by us and we won't be going down. It was the ICT night though and he did think we were going to get beat!
-
Fur fucksake, its the fucking rules. If you think its unfair, then go and stand in the back two rows where the club have said its ok
