Or maybe he got found out!
-
Dundee United have been decent (5th in the last 2 seasons). They also had a purple patch in the 80's. Outwith that, they have been pretty pish. Dundee United have no real reason to expect to finish top 6 every season, and are not really that much bigger than us.
-
In the last 3 games, aye! We have been absolutely shocking against 10men!
-
I was always a McGhee fan, but some of the stuff there is a bit rich. Mark, you really expect us to believe that you left to do us a favour? Come on!
-
The tea lady should be above McGarry in the pecking order!
-
I think that maybe a bit wishful thinking. We can get away with saying its a sideways step given Aberdeens predicament both on and off the field, but to say that a bigger club with bigger fan base, who finished above us last season and poached our manager off us is a step down is just the talk of a claret and amber goggled fundamentalist. Sorry. Saying that, i wouldn't say it will be a step up, and would like to think if he go's he will be going down south.
-
Fur fucks sake, no this pish again!

Exactly. What experienced players do we have anyway? Craigan, Lasley, Hammil and Reynolds. Can't see Reynolds being in the huff, Hammil has played well. If Craigan and Lasley were to go, it wouldn't really be the end of the world. Although I would rather they both stayed in the squad. As for JOB. I think he's been great this season, but after how close we were to the bare bones at the start of July, Gannon has put together a decent team. Im not really worried about any of the players leaving as Im hoping Gannon will pull more irons out the fire.

I had a pie at NDP on Saturday, was actually quite tasty. Could have been doing with being a bit warmer right enough.

We weren't really dishing out the pumpings and sweeping teams aside in McGhees first season until November - December. So, you never know, a wee 3-0 against the sheep - just like two years ago could kickstart it...........
-
See when he wins the league with us Is he going to stay and take us into the champions league, or move to the Liverpool/Chelsea job?? That would be a question......
-
Quite. And how many of our players have actually went to English league 1 and 2 sides anyway with the exception of Buzz of course who wanted to develop his Scotland chances.......

A guy was wearing it in the row behind me in the east on Saturday. Maybe because it was Halloween

Much improved performance from the last 2 games. Forbes wasn't at his best, but I dont think there was really a player in the team who had a bad game today. The ref was terrible right enough, although I had no complaints with 7 minutes of injury time. We were totally dominant with the exception of the 10 minutes after the sending off, just a shame we couldnt score a couple more. However if we win every game from no till the end of the seasn 1-0, we'll be in the champions league. We had a few crazy moments of our own, a Coke back headed from the middle of the park, Saunders slack pass and Ruddy nearly giving it away. Yaas also needed his baws toed in the last 10 for the space he gave Driver. But we got by. Dissapointed we didnt really go for them when they were down to 10 men. Really impressed with the job Saunders has been doing at CB, but I've got to say Im looking forward seeing a pairing of Hutch and Reynolds in there when Hammil comes back. Good to see big Sutton come back into the fold, although I really don't like JOB playing through the middle. I think he is far more effective hugging the touch line and getting the balls swung in, particularly if we are going to start playing with 2 big tall strikers. All in all it was a good game and performance and always good to get it up the FHW. Mon the 'well! Oh and OSB was a good read yesterday too!

Aye the paying for the polis hats and specs was quite good, I'll give the boys that, and the polis even had a chuckle about it. Good natured banter is what it should be all about. I didn't think there was any need to sing about the fat steward not having seen his ****, as he didnt seem to be giving out any hassle, or for the female steward to keep her tits in for the lads. Seemed a bit too personal and probably ott. Couldn't give a toss about Gallacher getting ripped though.

He nut megged him, was past him, no-one in front of him only to be pulled down by ross. Clean through. His comments were accurate though."But there is a temptation to remonstrate with them especially when you see grown men shouting abuse and slabbering all over their face." Not really Jims fault if your fans take exception to the truth is it?
-
The first goal lastnight where Ruddy actually got to it, only for it to sneak just over the line wasn't fortunate?? Or Ross not getting a second yellow for the blatant proffessional foul on Jim O'Brian? The abuse O'Brian took from that stand after he was fouled was unbelievable. He nut megged Ross, was clean through, there was no reason to dive. It either shows the nature of the football fan, or St Mirren fan in general. Im not sure which.

Tactics were all wrong from the start, but given that Gannon got the tactics spot on against the old firm, I think we can give him a bye on that. Lets face it, the skol cup is after all a diddy cup. Gus had the game sussed though, their players were right on top of us from the off, not giving us a second on the ball, same as Saturday, same as we do against the old firm. Maybe thats a compliment to us that they recognised they couldnt afford to let us play our football?? Maybe not. Most of our team though were pretty poor. Yaaas especially. I remember one good first half move that Hutch did some belter run, great cross field pass to yaas that appeared from where I was sat, to cut them open. Yaaas totally fucked it up. We were definatley the better team in the second half, but didnt get the breaks and Ross shouldv seen a second yellow for his professional foul on JOB. Good to hear Gannon take it on the chin and mention the fact the sizeable 'well support was better than the team lastnight. Maybe the results a good thing. Bring the players back down to earth after their performances against the old firm. Bring on the FHW!

^And then sometimes its the same as the rest of us, i.e their fathers took them to see that team since they were yon height. Not everyone has to be bigot or a scumbag. Even though it is a convenient cry for old firm haters.
-
What is obvious is that our fans lack a basic grasp of grammar and the English language in general.

DOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

For a club like us in the transition we are in, we should be looking at things one game at a time. For that reason, the leagues more important, until 4.50pm on Saturday and then its the cup! 2 wins for me!
-
Hasnt Liam Fox pretty much played in every game since he signed for Celtic? Whislt no-one can blame Humphrey for the unfortunate nature of his absence, he's only played in a handful of games.

Did you want Phil to take it with him??
