Boxing Day 2002 was our last league win against Rangers . Was beginning to think I’d not live tae see another win against them.

Pathetic just about sums up the club at the moment. The only people worth comending is the fans.

Disappointing to loose a 3 goal lead , but steadied the ship second half and got a hard earned point Would have taken that before the game. That's 6 games unbeaten in the league which is decent form. The big Bair was our best player tonight.

A lot of better teams than us have lost 3 goal leads.

Said he was an absolute gentleman Dave, and that his life had improved just by knowing him.....I think.

I think we deserved a point , we’ll done Motherwell, and great goal Slattery.

Not a bad shout mate , although many wouldn’t want Yogi , at least he’s got managerial experience, and could surely organise the team better. Hate to see what’s happening to Hammell, but it’s time to go . We’re only 3 points of 9th place and I know we’re rank rotten at the moment ,but a new gaffer with some know how might at least give us a fighting chance.

How’s the big fight going…….

I think there has been numerous failings at Motherwell going back a number of years. Yorkyred is spot on about recruitment , overall the standard of player coming to Motherwell has dropped significantly . I also think although well intentioned , the people running the club have made some poor decisions. The old chestnut “ the Road to Hell, is paved with good intentions” springs to mind when I think of Motherwell.

I hate to say this but so ar we.

I see that nice Callum McGregor might have sustained a bad knee injury tonight in Celtics champions league match, that’s so unfortunate.

Went onto one of the Aberdeen forums and as you’d expect they’re livid at getting beat by a rank rotten , crap, pathetic ,useless Motherwell team…..absolutely brilliant. Best was a Dons fan who said “ this is nae gan weel.

Gave up my season ticket a few years back and I won't be renewing it any time soon. Hardly ever missed a game at one time but I only took in 3 games this season, 2 league and 1 cup game.

Not to worry guys because "were all going on a European tour"....with one of the worst teams and managers we've ever had. Utterly embarrassing .

This reminds me of Hibs when Terry Butcher was manager , they went from safe tae the play offs and relegation .

Thoughts after today’s debacle?

We’ve been pretty awful all season if I’m honest in what has become a dreadful dreadful league. Saying that ,I think over the years we’ve actually done very well though considering. The calibre of player that were signing is pretty much to do with our wage structure, that old chestnut comes to mind “ if you pay peanuts you’ll get monkeys “, I’m certainly not advocating a gung-ho approach to our wage structure, but as long as we continue with this way of operating this is where we will tend to be. Recruitment has been poor the past few years which hasn’t helped.

I’d settle for 10th in the league right now, this team is up there with the worst I’ve ever seen in a Motherwell shirt…..and I’ve seen a few.

Tells us what we already know Dave ,the old firm are streets ahead of us, Rangers beat us 1-6 at home earlier in the season. Doesn’t make it any less disappointing though. That’s us gave both halves of the ugly sisters two of there biggest wins of the season on our home patch……depressing.
