  1. St Mirren wont sit back they are an attack minded team which hopefully makes for a good game, although i wont make it if its an early kick off...
  2. Great result only negative was Higdon ...passenger yet again. Only kiddin guys.
  3. Makes me start to question our youth set up, how many of our regular starters in the under 19,s have come up through the ranks .Devlin came from Dumbarton, there is the guy from spurs, the frenchman ,Hetherington im sure came from Rangers ,thats four that i know of, now were lookin at some young striker from estonia ,what about McHugh ,Smith,Lawless not good enough. Or is our youth set up not good enough.
  4. Well said mate, what some have to realise in relation to this forum is that what we have here at steelmenonline is a small group of greetin faced bastards [myself included] who in no way reflect the mood or attitude of the club or the majority of supporters. Thankfully.
  5. Now your in for it DEWELL get yer crash helmet on ,I get where your coming from though Jamie might need a new club for his own sake more than anything, Humphrey sorry never rated the guy he can go anytime, Higdon I must admit Im starting to like the big guy so I cant agree with you on that one.
  6. You being serious Dazzer ,Humphs and Murphy are playing crap because Higdon is moaning at them .
  7. This match is on bbc alba next Saturday night .
  8. Arguably just as good as us Lobey , and we are no where near being a GREAT side ,far from it.
  9. I would go with free entry ,and i bet we still cant fill the ground.
  10. As a season ticket holder if Ive got to pay to get into the game i just wont be going ,nae shouting, nae hissy fits, nae silly threats ,just no go, simples.
  11. The point you make about the predictability of our home form was evident from the start of the game, were not getting the best out of Higdon ,Murphy and Humphrey and our game plan NEVER changes. Its obvious McCall dosnt rate the fringe players[Forbes,Lawless Paige] and that cuts our options further still .And if we dont have someone who can come in and replace a dire Chris Humphrey then thats a worry.
  12. First game against Inverness and the second half against Hearts we played well ,other than that weve been poor at home.
  13. Utter crap at home yet again ,same game plan week in week out .Higdon all on his own ,Murphy all over the place and Humphrey what can you in all honestly say about Humphrey .
  14. Stop moanin the postman will have nicked them.
  15. Free entry ,cut price entry, the return of the cash converters penalty shoot out, curries , the game being talked up by players and staff alike can only mean one thing ,CERTAIN DEFEAT.
  16. Only backhanders Ive ever had were in the mooth .I see that Hearts play St Johnstone on Saturday so 3 points on Friday and a draw at Tynecastle would be a right good result.
  17. I know the Friday night game isn't everyone's cup of tea but this is a great move from the club ,lets get the place full and make some noise.
  18. I think we can take a good few points from these 6 games ,Motherwell being Motherwell will most likely mean we will loose a couple of games at home and travel to Edinburgh and Perth and win. Going to be a great end to the year hopefully and I would be happy with 13 points from 18.One game at a time aye right .
  19. I wouldn't take too much notice of anything that's posted on here ,its mostly drivel coming from a hardcore group who think that anything M.F.C that doesn't involve them is doomed to failure.
  20. Mmmm some fans they like the mascots ...but others dont want them , only one way to settle it....
  21. Thought Accies were the better team in the first half but we just shaded it in the second. I felt we lost possession of the ball far to easily throughout the game though.
  22. The Under 19s are in Cup action this Friday when they take on local rivals Hamilton Accies in the Third Round of the SFA Youth Cup. With the rest of senior football taking a break for Scotland’s friendly match in Cyprus this weekend, Gordon Young’s men will be keen to progress after eliminating Arbroath in the previous round. Accies will be keen to take the scalp of their near neighbours and contests between the two over the last few years have always been tight affairs. The match will take place at Bathgate’s Creamery Park this coming Friday (11th November) with a 2pm kick-off. Suits me just fine, I say just fine.
  23. Don't need to have played the game to know a passenger when you see one.
