  4. He said that Busta chap on steelmenonline really has the lot ,good looks, money, charm.
  5. And he spoke so highly of you Busta.
  6. I met Jim Griffin at an under 19,s game at Almondvale, footie wise hes involved with Dunfermline. What about Ian Angus ,ive always thought of Ian as the forgotten man of the cup final team. And he scored a great goal.
  7. If im reading it right tickets can be bought at hampden tomorrow from 9;30 a.m until kick off.
  8. the ticket winners Ricky Mullen Ian Winning David Cullinan
  9. McCall has a few tough calls to make selection wise thats for sure , win and the guy is a hero, lose and im sure some of the guys on here will be pointing out the error of his ways.
  10. PARTICK THISTLE are looking for a new manager after Ian McCall left his position at Firhill today. Could this be a job Craggs would be interested in.
  11. Couple of snippets from Saints website that i thought interesting. 1]The great thing about our form is that Motherwell will completely underestimate us. 2]McCall would be expecting us to be defensive. He has been over-cautious at every Semi he has been in charge.I say go all out attack................ .... So how many semi finals has over cautious McCall been in charge of? And the great thing about your form being crap is that your opponents will underestimate you.
  12. Would have to agree with you on that one mate Ross wouldn't shouldn't oust Hatley or Saunders from the full back position ,and that's no based on sentiment Ross has done well but he isn't any better than Hateley or Saunders.
  13. Whats the situation with the players who have been out on loan wee g are they still under contract with Motherwell for another season. That was a really good under 19s we had last year saw them a good few times at Bathgate.
  14. Motherwell lost what has became known to Well fans as the Allen Craig final. On the 11th of April 1931 Motherwell drew 2-2 with Celtic in the Scottish cup final ,the Steelmen had led 2-0 only for Celtic to score two late goals ,the second being an o.g by Motherwell centre half Allen Craig. Motherwell lost the replay which was played four days later on the 15th of April 1931 4-2. And before anyone asks naw I wasn't there.
  15. £23 quid to sit in what is basically a glorified pigsty, all clubs Motherwell included need to get a grip.
  16. This will be my first and probably only away league game of the season ,be a hard match but a think we might just do it, 1-2 victory and a top six finish.
  17. I will be disappointed if we lose but not gutted, were not that good and the Saints aren't that bad that its a formality. And you just don't know what Motherwell will do .
  18. My thoughts exactly weeyin I was only 17 at the time ,and I would think that would be the last time we were favourites in a semi-final,and we lost.

    A Request

Whats that all about, I cant believe the stick this young guy gets. Clarky ,Fitzy, now Forbes.
  20. Anyone know how the Motherwell t.v [coming soon ]is doing.
  21. Who cares he will be offski at the end of may.
  22. Bullshit ,look at the video no way GY heard what was being said hes well out of ear shot. This kind of conduct by broon doesn't surprise me though this old git will do anything to keep his halo on straight and that includes dropping everyone else in it.
  23. Found this... The man who has a reputation of being an early riser can afford to sleep in until noon and it appears that the manager with a somewhat nicey nicey reputation can afford to weigh into anyone he sees fit. Yesterday was the second time this season that Aberdeen boss Craig Brown has ended a game at Fir Park by going for an official of the opposition. At the start of the season, when he was still Motherwell manager, he threw a punch at Odense director, Kim Brink. Yesterday, he was chasing after John Boyle and then got his hands on his former employer. To do so once is bad enough but to have two misdemeanours like this in one season is surely an indication of bad behaviour. Hmmm, the youth of today….err wait, hmmmm, the elderly of today. What sort of example is Craig Brown setting to youngsters like Walter Smith, Alex Ferguson and Jim Jefferies by behaving in this manner. Who knows what Boyle said to spark such a reaction in Brown but when it comes to dishing out the blame, there has been a heavy precedent set in not paying attention to what instigated these matters. The SFA should at least be handing out a warning to Brown about his behaviour and the media should start profiling him in the right manner. Less of the nicey, nicey and isn’t it funny how he talks about winning corners as being more important than scoring goals and more of, well, he is a bit of a thug isn’t he?
  24. John Boyle should have kept his trap shut ,but hey we all do and say daft things in the heat of the moment. Let the team do the talking on the park John which they have done in our two games against Aberdeen since Broon left.
  25. Great night all round ,difficult to pick a motm but i thought Jennings was the pick of the bunch.A lot of talk on the radio after the game about how united didn't turn up. WE didn't allow them to turn up more like it.
