Yes big Terry and the lads will be at firpark on Saturday ,thoughts ,opinions , team selection etc. I think it will be a tough match against a team who are very good away from home.

Sheffield Wednesday are expected to make an improved offer for Motherwell defender Mark Reynolds after an initial bid was turned down. The Owls are understood to have offered £75,000 for the 23-year-old, whose contract at Motherwell expires this summer, while Rangers and Swansea have also been linked with the centre-half. Reynolds featured in Motherwell's Scottish Cup win at Dundee on Sunday and manager Stuart McCall said: "The talk prior to this game was a bit unsettling but his attitude was spot on. "I said `all right, Sheffield Wednesday have made a bid, if you go out and play well it might be a Championship club making a bid'. "From a manager's point of view I wouldn't like to lose him, I know the board are not over-keen to lose him, but if the offer is upped and I can bring someone in, we'll wait and see."

Then again what do i know. Marc Fitzpatrick looks set to have his contract extended despite McCall's recruitment drive. The 24-year-old, who started at Dens Park, signed a six-month deal in the summer after injury limited his chances the previous season. McCall said: "It's balancing the budget of what Marc's on and what he wants, which I don't think will be a problem. "You've got to wheel and deal but I'll be sitting down with Marc and his people and I think we'll be looking forward to keeping him until the end of the season."

Fitzy hasn't done anything to justify a new contract ,but he hasn't done anything that bad that he deserves to be punted ,and that's his problem,Fitzy simply does nothing .

Here is what Stuart McCall says ."Loan deals have been successful for this club. I know the state of play and there will be no one coming in without someone going out. However, if anyone leaves, then I can bring in like for like." Im pretty sure like most new managers Stuart has a couple of new players on his radar already.

Who do we get to replace them ? That old chestnut ,its always brought up by someone when we talk about getting rid of players or managers .Who did we get to replace McGhee ,who replaced Broon and Archie, who replaced McFadden, Porter ,Obrien and so it goes on .There are players out there or coming up through the ranks that we have never heard of that will come in and replace them, some might not be very good, some will become heroes ,that's the way it is and always will be .That's what we pay McCall to do .And if you dont like Sutton fair enough we all have different opinions .

Never mind the new contacts get these three impostors away ,Blackmans lost interest ,Gow is crap and Fitzy has done nothing since his winner against Hearts in the cis semi all those years ago. Were just a small club with a small player budget so we cant carry passengers .In the summer punt Craigan and Reynolds as well two liabilities in central defence . I would try and keep big Sutton though the guy gives his all and when played in his proper position bags a few goals......rant over but these guys are are surplus to requirements.

.. McCall: Mulling over options ..Motherwell's new manager Stuart McCall has confirmed he would like an assistant already based in Scotland. The former Bradford City boss has just succeeded Craig Brown at Fir Park and now has one eye on assembling his backroom staff. McCall has good contacts in England, but is against uprooting any families and now wants someone who is Scottish-based. The 46-year-old is in no rush to make an appointment and his first priority is getting the better of Hamilton on New Year's Day. Preference "I would like it preferably to be someone who is already in Scotland," said McCall. "I had a couple of people in England but it would mean them uprooting their families so I would prefer it to be someone who is up here. "I've got an open mind. There have been three or four names mentioned but I will look over the next week or so and speak with the club. "There are some good guys out there who are out of work but it's getting the right one. "The advice I got was to devise a list of the things I'm good at and the things I'm bad at and get someone in who ticks the things I'm bad at. "We'll see but there is nothing in force at the minute. We've got the game on Saturday and we will prepare for that. "We then don't have a game until the cup game eight days later so hopefully it will be done in that time." .

Tommy Craig was manager of a Belgium side until recently, might be wrong but im sure its the club that the old hearts manager Laslo is now in charge of.

All I get is the old site ,not to worry nothing much happening a suppose.
