Sad fact is tht if we were to have won the cup in say 2010, would we have players like Randolph, Hutchison? In fact would we have been able to compte in the champions league last season? I don't think so, I think our squad would have been savaged by the big teams down south! So, in response to the cup question, No. I would take consistency in the league over a one off cup win any day of the week! These few years in addition to future successes are what's going to keep Scottish football running. Soon enough we will be lower down the league, but only because the league as a whole has improved based on our influence Mtherwell fc in 10 years have gone from broke and finishing bottom, to champions league, Two cup finals, countless semi finals, 7 Europa Ties, two top three finishes, multiple top 6 finishes and quite possibly a second place finish. Golden Era?

I believe it is un officially our alternative kit for this season. Remember some chat about this in the Third kit thread at the start of the season where someone official mentioned the blue kit as our go to away kit. The silver kit would be brought out if say we played some yellow and blue team I imagine. Could be completely made up mind but it's at the very least a valid observation.

Daley was shite! I could have played better and weigh 22 stone! One time he showed real promise to provide, he ended up on his arse. But in his defence, I do feel the linesman cheated him out of a few calls. I'd say he won us two corners and a throw in, but the linesman says otherwise. As for the game, it was stressful but enjoyable for the most part. Gritty and unappealing to any neutrals but just the sort of win you'd take against anyone. Thomson is honestly the biggest waste of wage, qualification and uniform employed by the SFA. 3 points clear, a win away from top six and perhaps only about three away from another European adventure! It's looking good!

Was pretty annoyed to learn that I spent all day yesterday less than a mile away from the game and never realised Even more so by the fact that I was bored senseless at my girlfriends at the time Aw well, one passtime opp missed! Sounds like a good enough win for the boys!

I just watched the lasley incident and I have to say, on another day it would have only been a yellow. Think the linesmans reaction would have influenced to decision of the ref. Kerrs was a little more reckless and is a lesson learnt rather than anything.

For me it's circumstantial. A good example of one good and one bad is the 4-1 defeat to Dunfermline a few years ago. Mark Reynolds was sent off for an unlucky bounce up onto his arm and as the last man he had to go. Bt moments later, Scott McDonald seemed to celebrate a penalty goal by taking on the Left back. I applaud Reynolds, I was disgusted at McDonald. His last ever game for us too? Anyway, some are good red cards and some are bad. Some receive claps, others don't.
