What is the story behind this? What exactly happened?
-
We are Motherwell. What do you expect? us to win the league? To win every home game? us to score 5 goals in one game twice a season? Despite our poor performances at home, we are still the best team outwith the old firm! Postiejim needs to chill the f*ck out. McCall is doing a brilliant job with us. Unlike previous years, he hasn't bailed on us when it got tough and another job came in. Be grateful that he is trying to produce flowing attacking football. Look at what he's acheived since coming in. We reached the Scottish cup final, League cup semi and changed the team to one of the best to memory (on our budget, with no owner) under Mcghee, Brown, Malpas and Gannon, we had disgraceful times. under McCall, nothing is worse. This thread is a waste of space.

I thought they were involved with many charities? Its one of the things they hold over Rangers?
-
Cue the investigation I'm not confident. But I doubt we'll lose. I think Ojamaa will start with Murphy. Higdon on the Bench. Humphrey and Omar playing, Jenno or Law being dropped. 3-1 'Well!!
-
RIP Bill!! Pretty shocked to come home from school to this news!
-
Most scouts look at the potential of players. Look at what Murphy can do with the ball, not what he does in actual games..We know that he has the potential to score goals, just recently he hasn't.

The goals are on the BBC website.Scottish cup round up Part 1

Agreed Grant. I wouldn't say Ojamaa was greedy. More eager to prove a point that he deserves to be here. I can think of one occasion where he didn't pass when he should have, and that was after going past three Queens Park defenders and all but walking the ball into the net. If it wasn't for a smart blocked, we'd be comparing him with Messi! As for the One step Beyond argument, who gives a fuck?! Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Hibs have all played "Rocking all over the World" at some stage, yet no one is complaining about that getting played at fir Park... Its fair enough, not to want to be associated with Either of the Old firm but when it comes to totally neutral, completely impartial songs played after we score a goal, its taking it a wee bit too far. ( Perhaps, we should play "Up the 'Well" every time we score? ) Get a grip. The music choice at the stadium is not to do with the Game itself, is it?

Went for Omar! He scored, he worked hard and he seemed to pop up everywhere on the pitch. Also, because of his composure in not giving their Number 4 a boot for dry humping his leg.

To say we were disappointing today is about right. Although, we were brilliant at the same time. We played tactical football, switching it about the place neatly and made the rare misplaced pass. It paid off and we scored 4 - 3 of which were absolutely brilliant. Not sure what to think of the passing tactics used today, but a result is what we got so onwards and upwards.

At Aberdeen, he'll seem like Puyol sitting in their defence. He'll go back to Sheffield on a high and will probably be sold on in the summer.

Dunno about Sheridan, with only 4 goals to his name this season, he's hardly been winning many games for them. Sandaza would be the blow if there is to be one. 9 league goals and 3 cup. But despite this, they seem to be pretty sound for cover up front. Hearts would be screwed if they were to be forced to cash in on a couple players. In midfield and defence, they're safe with plenty of options. But upfront they could struggle. I would say we're pretty safe! For experience of first team action, we lack in number but for half decent quality I think we've got plenty! If we needed to use our reserve players, I honestly think they could adapt pretty quickly. With players like Forbes, Smith, Lawless, Mchugh, Clancy, Pollock, Carswell and Page on the bench & Saunders making a quick recovery, I'm certainly looking forward to the next few weeks. And for the players I haven't seen play - Devlin (post recovery), ZFA, Ojamaa, McGachie etc - they all seem to be pretty promising and likely to break into the first team next season or the following. Of course, our defence is our weakness at the moment and will be for the remainder of the season. Still think we'll remain in third place for the remainder of the season!

Never gonna happen. We'd have to pay his entire wage most likely.
-
Interesting to see that on our last three competitive games with them have ended 3-0 to us and we've won the last 7 ... Getting hyped up about this one!
-
I think this may be his last season as a first team regular but he could end up being a bench warmer next season, making the odd "cameo" appearance. I think he'll be offered a coaching role at the club, whether it be assistant to Kenny black or U19's. I honestly cannot see him moving to another club. He'll probably be offered a permanent role at BBC as a sports pundit too, and will be a regular on Sportscene ( )

Facebook confirmed it a few hours ago too

That was unjust. Should never have even gone to extra time never mind penalties.
-
Still love it though a wee laugh here and here

Hughes was poor on his return, and at tynecastle he seemed determined to get snt off with the tackles he was putting in. Hopefully he finds a new club fairly soon, but I cant see it being at SPL level or higher. Perhaps, a first division club will take him on.

I love the pessimism on this forum

We lose two games in a period we usually take no points from and the folk on here claim we're pish Lets face it, the teams we've lost to are Celtic, rangers, Hearts and St Johnstone. Two of which, no one is expected to beat every game. Hearts are, and have been, our closest rivals in the league, for a few seasons now and every team loses to a bottom six club. The fact that it was a bottom six club who are in fourth place that beat us will put no salt in our wounds, considering we demolished them at Perth! Wait until the end of February to decide where we will end up. Heck, a win on saturday could send us into a wee winning streak. Just calm yer beans!

Vengeance Going to this one! My cousins grandson is a mascot so I'm hoping for a decent win! A rampage would be nice, but I'd take 4-0. Randolph - Hutchison - Hateley - Hammell - Humphrey - Lasley - Law - Jennings - Omar - Murphy - Higdon All out attack for me! 3-4-2-1 formation! 'Mon the 'Well! (It will never happen) Saying that, with our home form, a 90th minute penalty to win it would be nice too

Been to Parkhead once, Never ibrox. So far we have a 100% record in the games I've seen
-
Fair Enough!
-
Not my best choice of words. But it only covers the next two fixtures, not games. Our fixtures were Hearts and Dunfermline and that is what it should cover.
