What would be the point in cashing in on a player who is essential to the team? Murphy and Humphrey both create space for our midfield. Without them Law, Hateley, Hammy, Lasley and Jenno wouldn't get forward and we'd be looking at a much, MUCH lower league position. Can't help but laugh at how many people there are on this forum who only look at direct impact of players rather than everything else.

We can rule out rangers. They play hibs on saturday. The prem teams will be watching griffiths in case he could actually do a turn down south. The championship teams seem likely to be there for the same, if not a similar reason.

They beat us under a different Manager, one of the best Scottish managers in fact! I don't see Lomas' tactics work against us. They only beat Hearts due to the fact that hearts are Pish at the moment and they got a lucky break with Kello trying to play god. We can't play at home because our pitch isn't wide enough (narrowest in the league I believe?? ) but we do defend well at home (generally) which is why we are in the position we are in. Away from home, our three pacey wingers + our two pacey full backs makes us horrible to defend against, especially with now three players in the squad to play the perfect ball and a big hold up man up front! Two powerhouse centre backs and a top class keeper added to the mix is why we are so good away from home. However, we don't have enough space at Fir Park to utilise these strengths and so we don't get the Wins/goals but we do get points.

A friday night game in the middle of july? Sounds like gold to me! A full day of nothingness, a couple drinks in the afternoon before heading out to watch the 'Well, A 6pm kick off , on a cool summers night, in the sunshine with no need for faulty floodlights? Bring it on!!!

The options are there but its down to whether or not McCall feels the players are of the quality required to play in the SPL.
