Yet, when I went to The Bolton Man U game in September, not one of the Man U fans or any of the fans around me sat the entire game. There was also Maybe 20 Stewards in the entire Stadium! There was no trouble at all at the game and the bolton fans even seemed fairly calm considering they were losing 5-0 going on thirty.

Have to disagree.... The Man's a tank, he's fast and he knows his way around a defence and to goal. If anything, he'd be better through the middle on his tod than upfront with a teammate IMO.

It was like that at Hampden as well. Disgrace. Did they not want their own stewards to go to their away games because their fans were not being treated like royalty? Looking at those games and the fixtures of our closest competitors, we could find ourselves 15-18 points clear of 4th place AND perhaps, points clear in second place with Celtic having a pretty much identical run of game but with Rangers and Killie instead of Hibs (Also game in hand over Dunfermline on Wednesday) So all we need to do is Equal Celtics results against Dunfermline, St Johnstone, St Mirren Hearts and Dundee United and Hope that they drop points against Rangers and Killie (again) While we beat Hibs! I reckon that would see us three points clear if all goes to plan. Looks like it could be a REALLY happy New year

Forbes would be brilliant if it weren't from the stick he gets whenever he touches the ball. The only time I've seen someone praise him is when he scored that belter up at St Johnstone, and I've seen him play some fine football..... Carswell has played decently when I've seen him play but I imagine the player dropping off the bench will be neither. Gary Smith would be the first one to go IMO. Good player, but doesn't seem to be ready to compete for a spot on the team. Forbes is a reliable player to have in a different type of game. ( V Hibs in the cup for example; Pens, Late balls into the box etc...) Cant imagine smith being up to the challenge of that sort of occasion but Forbes is. And Carswell has already proven that he can give other SPL teams a run for their money. Gary Smith = no chance of beating Higgy or Murphy onto the pitch yet. Little experience (Europa only?) Carswell = Good back up player - can compete Forbes = Steady head. experienced at this level and higher (Europa). No brainer for me.
