I know it's tongue and cheek, and I know you're being serious about the style of play from U20 team, but the sad thing is that this would be considered cheating. Putting out a weaker side against the best team in the country. What's worse is that the group of players we have at that level would probably give Celtic a good game. For the game itself, with our 'best' squad, I reckon we will lose 2-0. Don't think Celtic will bring their strongest game to Fir Park because the points are almost a formality for them.

Accies have been consistently shite for years and we have still always struggled to beat them- with obvious exceptions. Going into it on the back of a decent point away to Ross County, I think we will take something. Hoping Moult gets another goal, and Bowman to open his account.

I think Moore is completely out of the picture- loaned out so he can keep playing but isn't valuable enough to demand a fee. Probably running down his contract. Richard Tait looks to have played the best part of 300 games in 7 years - more than 40 a season on average. In those games he has consistently received a decent level of praise. That's a level of consistency which is on par with Stevie Hammell. So, yeah. 4 clubs, playing nearly every game and doing a good job. (Wikipedia source, so take that as you will) Clay on the other hand has about 120 games in 6 seasons, with 7 other clubs. Fits the bill of a journeyman. But seems OK thus far.

As a player who could develop into top end championship/Mid-Premier League standard, I think it will take £1.25m - £2m (after add ons, of course) to have the club consider it. £300k is disrespectful to both player and club. Even if it is top end of their budget, it's still about a quarter of his value. Like asking to take Messi for £20m. Not happening.

Reckon this is spot on. Plastic pitch needs very little work done to it over a season- imagine Fir Park hosting 40-odd games over 9 months? Our now beautiful pitch would mimic that of McGhee's first spell! It will be a club/Groundsman decision when the pitch is used other than First team matches.

Conjecture, but I assume the delay in the negotiations was Motorpoint wanting sponsors on the replica kit, but can't afford the additional cost of doing so. So they have chosen to only sell their logo on one replica kit, that being the away. Which I will hazard a guess will be blue, given the Motorpoint colour scheme. You heard it here first. Watch this space!
