Did we not have a Friday night game against Hearts on the 07-08 season? Lost 1-0 to laryea Kingston goal?

unless we have a youth player called hughes, it will be. Reading on in this thread, I'm starting to think Hughes would be a good player to come back. He's versatile, skilful and still fairly young. So a pay as you play contract as an impact sub wouldn't be so bad although I still think it will be unfair on the benchwarner who loses their spot. Anyone whos forked out for 'WellTV, can see if/ how he played?

I agree. That line up would take Higdon out of the equation in terms of flick ons and such. We really need Humph down the wing. He's the player that causes trouble and opens space for murphy, law and lasley to get through on goal this season. Without him,, we'd score very few from Midfield and probably less from Murphy and Higdon. Hughes would sit on the bench and come on once every couple of weeks. but ofcourse, that would signal the end of the season for at least one of our players on the bench, most likely Mchugh.

I don't think hughes would get a chance if he returned now... When he came the first time he replaced Kerr in Midfield so couldn't really be moved but now, we have too much quality in our midfield for him to just walk in. he'd need to be at his best every single day in training and every week in the games to retain a spot in the Starting XI. I dont even think its on the cards. McCall won't be looking at a player that would force a benchwarmer off the bench. Hughes is a no go, for me..

This! If we got players behind him everytime, we'd get at least 10 goals per season out of it! With Murphy's/Humph's/Law's Pace running in behind, we'd find our players in a lot of 1-on-1 situations!

he played just behind the strikers and was very unselfish in how he played. He didn't score many but he set up a lot. He was also played as a winger at some point, Similarly with Birmingham. Atleast, thats what I got from whenever I watched Match of the day or even Sky sports.

Could see him getting the last Five minutes tomorrow if he's somewhat fit! But hutchy will definitely not be playing anymore than that, especially with the serverity of his injury. Inverness looks more likely for him to get his game... probably last half hour or First half in that game!

For me, it would have to be beating hearts at Fir Park! My Auntie (Jambo) Had taken me and my sister through and had the smuggest look on her face as she thought we'd be quickly knocked off of our High horse. It made for a very pleasing journey home when we won!!

McFadden is a player who could fit into any team in Scotland regardless of who they are. Pretty much the same down england, but from lower-low EPL teams and Lower.. So wolves, would be his best move as they are bigger than that.
